Hutchins BBQ sure is awesome! I haven't tried all the Texas Monthly BBQ places yet, but I try as often as I can to have lunch or dinner at Hutchins!! The service and sides are as good as the BBQ. And it's very nice the McKinney location has a drive thru...for those hit them up on the way home meals. Awesome video!!

Hutchins has great quality and the original in McKinney on the east side has been there for decades. The prices are also much more reasonable. Goldees is new and much more expensive. Let's see how long they can keep up the quality.

I’ve eaten BBQ all over the country. As far as brisket, Hutchins is a top 10 in the state. I’m sure there are many other mom and pop places that make great brisket but how many BBQ spots do you think there are in Texas? Some think about 2500 that they’ve accounted for. I bet it’s more than that. It’s all about personal tastes.
