Love this book! kzbin.infoUgkxpCNxqmAkyjN6NPx1fyB7QiEFWyO5mUWL it is simply one-of-a-kind! I really love it, because karah explained all tools required to have the job done, not mentioning the fabulous diy pallets ideas. I'm pretty sure this will be a fresh start in my new endeavour. Amazon was great, they delivered on time. Thank you!

"who'll most likely never even hold never mind work with any of your tools" Duh! Those are Jimmys tools, so no wonder! :D Go shopping some of your own tools in some local business, or drift market and start building. I get if you dont have hands, it might be kinda difficult, but thats just an excuse not to use your feet! Nothing can be archived, including learning, if nothing is done towards that goal, specially if you give up even before trying! Jimmy has done this decades now, so no wonder he has the experience and skills, but nothing is preventing you to design your own project based on his, in scale you are feeling is fit to your skill level. I have done some of jimmy style projects with tools from drift market, middle of my living room floor. Sure my GF is not keen on me doing these things here, but after i made her custom 1000€ crafting table, she has quiet about me taking over the living room... For starters buy old hand planer from drift store, bring the blade to professional to be sharpened and do cleaning/restoration of the wood your self if blade part seems too much to handle. Thats the first project and you never the less will get working hand planer as result, but thats just a start. Good tools just make things faster, but everything can be archived with hand tools over time just like older generations did. Tools and materials for such project are couple arcs of sand paper and bottle of wood protecting oil like boiled linseed oil, or tung oil. If you want take on the blade part use the sharpening stone that should be part of every kitchen anyways and then some oil to protect metal from rusting.

+Hellsong89 Oh aren't you so great, did you learn how to be so condescending and sanctimonious all by yourself too?? I never said I wanted to make stuff, that was my point- that I have no interest myself, yet I find Jimmys work and channel facinating. You should check or try read between the lines before you go talking down and bragging to a commenter who was just giving the channel well deserved compliments

I was walking by the streets of NYC and I knew that Jimmy's workshop was around there. Then I saw that amazing bench on the street, yeah... that's DiResta style, it has to be here! Guess what, Jimmy appears out of the blue with a crazy Korean guy!!! Wow, a day to remember. We talk for a while and took some pictures but unfortunately Jimmy was closing the workshop so I had no chance to visit inside, he kindly asked me to wait until he gets back, but I had a flight to catch... well, maybe in my next time in USA! You can recognize his geniality when you question yourself: how could he come with the idea of inserting this piece of wood in the bench's arm!? Amazed! After that I enjoyed the rest of my layover sitting on that marvelous bench while trying to talk with that Korean guy, lots of fun! I left there with a smile in my whole face. Thanks for your kindness and inspiration Jimmy, that's all that a fan hopes to find in an idol!
