OceanBlue Last time I checked Canada was a member of the Common Wealth. The US might have the army with the most people/ money but Common Wealth armies have a record of winning wars. The US has yet to win a war solo. I think you almost beat some farmers once but almost vs farmers isn't impressive. You guys should stop throwing money and blood at conflicts and strongly consider just training your troops instead. Education isn't always a bad thing.

Wrong. You obviously are uneducated. The Chinese claim everything was invented by them. The first known and deployed parachute was done by a person who lived in what is now known as Croatia before Croatia was even a kingdom. So, yes. Not technically Croatian. BUT, show me a NON knock off piece of history that shows that a "A CHINESE" invented the parachute. And before you answer me. DEFINE CHINA!

Nope, Whitcomb has an idea about a quick fastener but it was neither a zipper, nor was it ever actually created. Nice try though. It was first made in Canada by Sundback, who took the basic ideas of a few others and found a solution with the interlocking teeth etc.

In late 1892, he moved to Springfield MA to teach Phys Ed and invented basketball that same year. So, no he had not been living in the US for decades, it was less than a year. It’s funny he said in French that he doesn’t think parachutes are Canadian but then proceeds to say in English “yes they are Canadian he should’ve stuck to his French answer before he asked his imaginary friend in the audience lol 😂

Dr. Nesmith worked with disabled kids and invented the game in his driveway, at his house near Kemptville, Ontario, south of Ottawa. I've been there. He used bushel baskets from the apple orchard, with holes cut in the bottom. He took the game on the road a few years later, where J. Kimmel picks up the story. Possibly something with University of Syracuse, about a few hour's drive south.

You could also say the Canada invented football. The 1st game was played between McGill and Harvard in 1874 where McGill introduced football rules to the original game of rugby.
