The season should have had 4 more episodes. The night king battle for winter fell was too short and the final 2 episodes should've been more filled too. Although I think it is plausible for daenerys to have gone mad due to all her loss there wasn't really a snapping point so maybe it should've shown the unsolid losing or something or made her attack right after they killed missandei

Starks are one of the first men. First men and children of the forest were fighting a war. The children created the night king after capturing one of the first men. He could've been a stark. Starks are not the descendants of the white walkers, it could be the other way around though!

I am not sure how that will play out, but as a side note (though possibly related?) I think there is more to the phrase "there must always be a stark in Winterfell" than we realize.

He's so right about the Sopranos ending. Watch the entire last season again and notice all the recurring references to death, and what it's like when someone gets shot, the unknown hit-men at the start of the season that take out key members, the beef that's bubbling over with Phil, and you begin to construct the puzzle of what that cut to black and deafening silence before the end credits really mean. I love GOT but The Sopranos is still the greatest show of all time.
