I remember when this aired live. Wasn’t a regular Kimmel watcher and saw it. That it was the most f#@$ing hilarious thing I’ve ever seen. Had a DVR and saved it. Some friends were in town and we watched it and laughed nonstop. A few nights later we’re sitting around and by chance, the original episode aired with Sarah’s version. Lmao. Had those saved on my TiVo dvr until it quit working 5 years later! 😬🤣

Great guy of course. He was still perfectly fine here. The guys health was rapidly declining in a very quick time after his CBS show was cancelled, and its a shame his death has just been attributed to depression. His wife claimed that Robin was fully aware he was losing his sanity in his final days due to Lewy Body, his health was rapidly deteriorating in a matter of months, he just wasn't the same guy, the last week of his life was quite bad. She was probably right when she said he probably only would have lived a few more years, and they would have been very hard years. I'm at peace that Robin left when he did at this point. His time was up and the man understood there was no coming back from it. I'll never forget it and will always honor the man for entertaining me my whole life
