Pretty much all news and entertainment are like this now. If you watch interviews from 20+ years ago, they were respectful and took turns talking. Now it just seems like everyone tries to talk over each other constantly. The internet has brought great things, but it has also stunted us significantly. People cannot pay attention for more than a couple of minutes, due to the instant gratification of the internet. The TV stations know this and they staff people who have over the top, loud personalities to provide a constant stream of entertainment. The shows from twenty years ago would bore modern audiences.
