Didn't she say her last boyfriend tried to control her? Depending on the degree, & her response, it could have been mental & emotional abuse. She's still very young & getting over that. When she truly believes she can trust him she will settle into her real,comfortable, self. He is willing to patiently wait for that & assure her she is safe. I believe he can even prove he is strong enough (like one of the 3 Chris's); hopefully with a good degree of humor. The fact that he cries openly is a welcome change. I saw that in his dad. It seems that people don't care that they are real people who have had relationships before and have "baggage" like most people do. Cassie was on a show called "Young Once" not long before becoming a contestant on the Bachelor. That show is "A documentary series that follows a group of young Christians from Southern California on their quest to live counter culturally." i find it interesting that she's on a show about being a Christian and she never mentions anything about her faith in GOD while on the Bachelor or in any interviews. That makes me question whether she's going on tv just for attention, fame, and money.

They both are in desperate face-saving modes (I would not be surprised if this "relationship" is nothing more than effectively a business arrangement). Simply no way they would be seeing each other merely once a week if they were truly in love.
