That $5 buffet was for sure the most special one. It looked clean, the food looked good and tbh, I kind of like how they have less options. It would feel less overwhelming. I also thought the ramen station was so cute lol! The environment looked so comforting, really chill and authentic. That buffet was the winner in my eyes.

this! if you have too many options you're more likely to overeat and still leave the place frustrated because you didn't manage to try everything. But at a smaller place you can try all of the food. Hopefully, the people eating there appreciate the authentic small (often family run) business and help by leaving a generous tip ;)

$5 buffet for the win. Relatively healthy (other than the ramen), and it looked closest to having a home cooked meal made by mom or grandma. If I lived in Korea I would eat there multiple times a week.

As a Mexican/Italian neither pizzas or "tacos" looked great, but I got to say: sometimes buffets can surprise us, for example I went to the Paris buffet in Las Vegas and I got to say I had one of the best creme brulee I have ever tasted, and I had creme brulee in Paris, France. I don't know if it was a one time thing , because the rest of the buffet was mediocre at best.

@@jimmykimtv I actually went on a buffet tour in las vegas about 12 years ago, they used to offer a promotion, you paid like 45 dollars and you had access to like 8 different buffets, that you could visit as much times as you wanted in a period of 24 hours, I regretted it so much, I only got to try like 4 buffetts and had the worst indigestion of my life, I thought that living in Sicily had prepared me for it, since eating is the local pastime ( Sicilians talk about what they are having for dinner as they are eating lunch) but no, the quality was not that great, a lot of frozen foods, cheap cuts of beef, rubbery shrimp (maybe I was used to how great Sicilian food is, fresh produce, great meat and seafood) and the quantities, ohh my god, the portions were huge and I felt so guilty throwing food away, 3 out of 10 would not do it again!!

Actually the way that you cook and eat noodles with rice it’s pretty similar to what we do in Cambodia. For me as a fan of Korean food especially Kimchi, I really like eating noodles with kimchi. Hope I can visit Korea soon and I will definitely go to some places that you introduced!
