Many thanks sir 🎉🙏😊 CNG to Jimny means: 1. You are done with boot space so no space for luggage. 2. You will increase the dead weight of at least one full size person sitting in boot always. And the weight in the boot drags the car most. 3. You will lower down Petrol fuel economy if needed. 4. Do not expect much in off-roading with CNG. 5. CNG runs almost dry so it is not very friendly with the engine in longer term My personal advice is NO CNG.

Well, if you do not use overdrive which means you are not using 4th gear. Normally, speed above 35 Kmp/h need it for the good average also it stress less on transmission in the regular use which finally will decrease avg. You are most welcome however I always afraid of jam between Ambala and Chd stretch especially between Zirakpur & Derabasi where I enjoyed lots of phone calls just becuase nothing to do in Jam. Just returned from a 600km trip. Mix of city and highway. 2 people and luggage. 26 - 29 psi. Measured tank to tank. Got 17.1 kmpl. While the car told me it is 16.8. Loved the drive!

Did you use/ recommend the use of wind booster in Jimni AT? Will it affect the engine performance or life or safety aspects in any way-short or long term?

I used it to test, technically and honestly, I am not a big fan of wind boosters. This is the only device I found which plays vehicles and the human brain at the same time. If you look at its working principle, there is no power gain as well. For me it is a fancy item a toy for a kid and getting bored after a week or so. Maybe some features are useful e.g. anti theft etc but that's not for real thieves. I am not sure how the vehicle is going to behave while you are crushing on the highway and it fails so no comment on that. Lastly, it plays with throttle which probably somewhere plays with the adaptive nature of the modern ECU but that is a matter of testing. And especially when one is using cruise control. I can't recommend anything which is not really verified from my point of view for the benefits of the forum. Hope, you understand I am coming from. Good luck 🤞😊

On the highway I got around 19 km (on meter) avg. Speed 60 to 80 km. It is good if it gives 13-15 as Jimny is rear wheel drive. Many pseudo suvs with front wheel drive give 15 to 17 km on highway though they are on front wheel drive

Please suggest the best rpm and speed for AT USERS , I am unable to extract more then 12 from Alpha AT , my Jimny is absolutely stock no roof rail no upgraded tyres nothing.

If you can try no more than 1500 rpm, some required spikes of 1800 are fine. Linear throttle push, avoid hard push. The same applies to highways by keeping vehicles under 2500, if possible 22-2300 rpm. A few overtake spikes above 2500 is fine. Lastly, most important, use car momentum as much as possible. E.g. there is redlight or traffic stopped 300-400 ahead stop using or use least throttle so your car will stop automatically without braking or maybe till you reach there you will find the traffic is open now. I used this strategy. In video, what you have is not the best of me and also with more than 300kgs weight onboard. If your car is a fairly new clock a few thousand km before you expect anything good. Use light feet with overdrive off if needed. Do not push your car downhill, uphill only press the throttle to the level it is really needed. Mind the rpms, too much revv means less FE.

@Ram1947able thanks for your answer, please check front tire pressure I doubt these have air pressure above 40 psi due to some malfunction with air filling station. This looks like the most probable reason to me by sitting on my chair here 😅 If that is not the case, then get that checked immediately with the service center and let me know. But do tire pressure double check from a really authentic gauge before you report it. Good luck! 🤞

Possibly you need to keep on eyes on RPMs keep them low without pushing much and use car momentum more than accelerator whenever possible which also need a less braking. These are some of tips. Hope, this helps.

@@MashofreaksAuto I am having sail uva'2014 petrol. For the last 16 years I have been driving Chevrolet -Uva & Sail uva. Done almost 3.50 lakhs km. 2 lakhs with this one and 1.5 lakhs with the earlier one. I love long drives. PLKM avg is the major concern for people doing pvt or govt jobs or for the people having limited income per month. Buying an elephant could be a normal thing but taking care of it and feeding it can give a person sleepless nights.

my AT alpha fully loaded with 2 kids never gives more than 14 to 15 on highway with lite foot.. but my nepal trip from hyderabad with terrible roads gave me around 12.5kmpl total trip average

Hmnn, thanks for sharing the experience, the sweet spot is 82kmph below 2200-2400 rpm. Road slope and tire size also contribute to. Thanks again! 👍
