Sir being a marine engineer I loved your videos which cater technology with a very simple aproach. I feel TSI would have done with VGT or with a waste gate sort of valve just tune down the turbo for idling or city low revs. What do u think???

Most important thing is fill fuel from reliable petrol station, preferred 95 octane, use synthetic oil as per OEM, maintain regular oil top ups, clean air filters based on your location (dusty / clear air). Then 1.0 TSI engine is ultimate reliable engine available in present Indian market. No engine will give performance and mileage, except 1.0 TSI.

I normally try to avoid traffic & use ORR or other roads with less traffic.On that basis, I booked Kylaq which has a TSI engine. Should I go for it. Is it quite a useful case.... Europe me rehta hu, Engine ki performance bohot acchi hai, but mere mostly short trips rehti hai and Skoda manual book me mentioned hai ki “We don’t need to wait once the Engine starts”, IDK asa kyu mention hai but mai Rev 1k tak aane tak wait krta hu. Don’t know if it helps to the car.

Because TGDI have problem with carbon build up sometimes & mpfi with turbos need to use lower compression ratio , so they are less efficient. Correct me if I'm wrong 🙏

At the end NA engines are more reliable, less maintaining, rough and tough, giving more peaceful experience than these complicated and over engineered engines which are more suitable for cold countries.

Very valuable inputs on TSI Engine technology, Split Cooling technology and Plasma coating used inside the Cylinder to reduce friction. My experience with VW Taigun 1.0 ltr TSI engine reveals that being a highly refined engine with precision German Engg technology is that it's a Driver's delight. Ease of driving with Automatic Torque Convertor is its highlight. However the trade off is the poor mileage experienced in City driving. If VW / SKODA could work on the fuel economy improvement features, it would help prospective Customers and definitely help them in improving the sales.
