Jin the Skull Bow Elite Ranger Tome Pet Farm - Guild Wars Ranger Farm R/Any, HM

Stumbled across this when I was bored and looking for something to do on my Ranger. Thanks for posting videos like this! It can already take a while for an Elite tome to drop but you can also farm the mobs that spawn by him for a potential basic tome drop as well. I've gotten three Ranger tomes from the two Crimson Skulls, as well as an Assassin and Necromancer tome from the lone/ paired Sensali that patrol past that point as well. Drop chance seems pretty low though, only got those after a few hours of runs, so it might not be worth the extra effort and time for some people. If you're feeling particularly bored, it also makes for a passable method of Pet leveling that doesn't leave your Death count through the roof. My poor Phoenix worked so hard to hit 20...

I am not. It's a skin you can get from the zaishen minagerie.

Does the pet's evolution have any impact on the farm? When I saw you were using a Hearty Beetle, I thought Dire might be better, but I'm guessing the extra damage isn't enough to meaningfully speed up the farm?

I does not matter for most of these pet farms. Yeah it might make some faster or more efficient, but for me, its not worth the time to set up the pet

Depends. They are actually pretty rare. That's the same for any tome farm unfortunately.
