A trick : you can watch movies at KaldroStream. I've been using them for watching lots of of movies recently.

Thanks for this video and your beautiful playing, but I still don't really know much about the differences between them. Is it mostly just the length/pitch? Is there a different musical tradition for jinashi vs. jiari?

Literally didnt say what any difference was in construction either like you said in the intro. That's why i watched this. So why is the technical difference between them other than length and hole spacing? Better title and intro would just be 'I play 2 different kinds of shakuhachi'...and i agree, beautifully.

the ones I make, i have trouble getting the actual root so Mine been with outthe root end. Is it still a Shakuhachi flute if the traditional root is cut off, or is there another name for the type I made?
