Recipe for Chicken Tacos:
- Corn tortillas
- 8 Boneless skinless chicken thighs
- Olive oil
- 2 bell peppers
- 1 yellow onions
- 1/4 cup mozzarella cheese
- Cilantro
Steps to Make Tacos:
Drizzle olive oil in a large skillet and place the chicken thighs in the skillet over medium heat. Cook for 8 minutes or until golden brown then flip and cook for an additional 5 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 170°.
Dice the bell peppers and onions and place them in skillet with 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat. Sauté then set aside. For the tortillas, place in skillet with 1 tablespoon of olive oil and add mozzarella cheese to one side. Cook until crispy. Garnish with pico de gallo (and maybe a bit of extra cilantro and lime).
Recipe for Pico de Gallo:
3 roma tomatoes
- 1/2 yellow onion
- 1 jalapeño
- Lime juice
- Cilantro
- Salt (if you'd like)
Steps the Make Pico:
Dice the tomatoes, onion, jalapeño, and cilantro and mix them together. Squeeze a bit of lime juice and that's it!
Now the fun part: plate it and enjoy!

Why are people so judgemental? If you don't like the way she's doing the video, don't watch it. If you can't give suggestions without putting her down, don't give them at all. Just be kind and find your way to a channel you enjoy watching. People on the internet can be so cruel and for no reason, it's just not necessary.

Jinger, for your own safety, please consider getting a sharper knife to cut the peppers. You're likely to cut yourself when you're sawing with a dull knife. 🙂 your knife should be so sharp it just slices right down to the cutting board with little effort.

@@monetshantell Funny, my Mother, Sister, and I are all native of San Diego and this is VERY similar to how we make tacos (only we use ground beef most of the time). *Today I Learned: Salt, pepper, seasonings of any kind, do not exist.* This whole thing was just.....bad. Don't get me wrong, she's all sweet or whatever in the video and the kitchen is nice but there is no "skill" here a 10 year old couldn't manage (likely better). That seems to be about the level of cooking most of them reached and stuck with; likely due to the parentification the girls suffered through. Having to learn by age 5 how to play mom so everything was a bit "dumbed down" to make it easier. Hopefully they all learn to grow and branch out a bit more.

I am going to try this recipe. It looks yummy. My husband loves street tocos, chicken tocos, and a household favorite is fish tocos. If I may just make one suggestion, I just starting learning some basic knife holding techniques and it has made chopping, slicing and dicing so much easier. I know from watching you growing up that you have so many years of cooking under your belt. I am almost 40 and am just now learning how to use a knife safely after decades of not knowing.
