In Australia we have Pancake Tuesday, the Tuesday before the start of Lent. It is a very old Brittish / Christian tradition that you would make pancakes after searching through your house looking for all the flours and levening, and then make up a batter to use everything up before going into Lent prior to Easter.

Yes, we celebrate pancake day in UK - (Shrove Tuesday) but I just buy the packet ready-mix as I don't buy flour haha :)

I have a dog named Ember too! She is a brown and white border collie and has gotten herself into trouble over the years…including swallowing a furry chew toy when she was very young. So I just had to donate to help this Ember.

I forgot you were having the quilt along and just finished this pattern as a quilt top for a friend of mine. It sure makes a pretty quilt. I donated towards the puppies vet bills. I have had to spend a lot of money this past year on my fur babies. They are my family so they are worth it!
