I've never played OpenTTD before, but have watched all Yogs' streams and videos of them playing it and always thought it looked complicated. Yesterday, I downloaded the game and played it for the first time. It's not complicated at all, relatively easy to just jump into and play, and actually quite fun!

Base Open TTD is incredibly simple, the difficulty comes from playing with friends who are intent on parking trains across your roads to stop you earning money from buss and truck lines. Once you add modpacks (there is an in game system for this I believe) things can get a fair bit more complicated since some of the best ones re-work the industries and add all manner of new vehicles and needs. Then you consider adding AI players (not too bright but they do change things up) and then you are looking at something a fair bit similar to what they are playing nowadays. Unfortunately I find it gets very slow once you have your first few lines set up and are just waiting for money to roll in before you make your next big system.

@@bobbys332 fair enough! That all makes sense, I guess the jump from base game to heavily modded game was what threw Ped. I'll try hunting around for some of the mods these guys use and try it out!

@@GalianMode FIRS and FISH I believe are some of them, Fish deals with ships and Firs is the Industry Replacement mod that adds the complex industry chains. Couple that with some of the OpenGFX train, road, and plane sets and you're probably 90% of the way there.

So, Modlist as far as I can tell, there may be more: UKRS2 (with add-ons) Roadhog FIRS Industry Replacement Set (Parameters are either Steeltown or Extreme, not sure) FISH Industrial Stations Renewal Rural Stations Suburban Stations Basic Stations City Stations British Station Set Town and Industry - UK Houses Early Mod They probably also have Improved Town Layouts, it's hard to tell. There's probably more, like the mod they have for the UI, but these are the ones I recognise/have been able to find.

For people who are saying The Spiffing Brit cheated with his multi-company cheat, he did not, you can watch his version of this stream on his channel. Also remember in openTTD you you can only trade a company’s share if it’s over 6 years old, unless they turned off the limit in advanced settings. So TSB couldn’t have traded shares in the first 2 hours. P.S. He joined company 7 (created by Ben) at 51:10 to destroy the “Tea Sucks” Ben wrote on the map, and then rejoined company 3 which was his original company.

20:48 That's Southport, Lewis. To get to Blackpool from Liverpool, you have to go through Preston. Blackpool is actually next to Preston, on the coast. Fun fact by the way: You can see the Big One (Previously known as the Pepsi Max Big One) from Soutport, which is approximately 10 miles away (I still think they should tunnel under or bridge over the estuary. That way, you could get from Liverpool / Southport to Blackpool without having to go all the way around). You can also see the Blackpool Tower, which is approximately 11 miles away. Of course, both are weather dependant.

1:52:27 How do thay not understand Football/Soccer, The off side rule is when you kick the ball to another player thats across a invisible line or is already in past it when you start to kick it, the point of the off side is to make it so its more competitive, by makeing players stay in quadrants insted of just booting the ball from half way down the field thus avoiding everyone in the midd feild, woulch is bull shit and dumb, And ovcorse every liege has different places where the off side rule is. Other than that you pass the ball around, if it goes out off bounds on the sides of the pich what ever team toched the ball last wether it was intentional or the ball was purposely hit off you the other team gets a thorough in form the spot and afue steps left and right of the spot, Now if the ball gose out of bounds and its behind the goal unless the goalie hits it out its a corner kick if, and if the the goalie hits it out him and his team gets the ball back. And also no pushing, pulling, tripping are arguing with the ref. It literally has 3 rules. American football has offence and defensive penalties. Not to mention each time you score you get 6 and kick a feild goal to make it 7 unless you whant to get 2 points to make it 8 where you play a regular play, But if you have the ball but you didn't get it into the endzone you can make a regular feild goal to get 3 points. As you can see its allredy more complicated, and i didint even talk about first downs, how the ball is placed, a d i didint even get into foules and there consequences

If you watch his stream (available on his channel) you'll see he did not use the multi-company stock trading exploit in this playthrough. So your accusation is incorrect. Actually, you don’t even need to watch his stream to know this. If he was sending money btw multiple companies to cheat hundreds of thousands of pounds, you’d see the other companies’ activity on the profit graph, which you don’t. He joined Ben’s fake company at 51:10 to remove Ben’s “Tea Sucks”.
