Seeing Flax get choked up at the end of that lovingly crafted story really sums up that community love.

Once more into the breach dear friends. Yet another year of working with the fine folks of Pyrion's community to create, craft and come together to make a RUST RP Adventure for the boys to play through for everyone's entertainment on stream. This was such an enormous undertaking, and the talents of so many people were involved with making this thing happen. CynicalSoapbox, Rhinotastic, Jekk, GDoe5 - The list goes on and on for their vision and teamwork in making this thing happen. I know for certain there were many laughs had during the initial stream, but to those of you who are going to watch it from KZbin please enjoy and know that everything herein came from a genuine place of just wanting to put on a good show to help raise some money for charity. Take it easy, pards. (VA - McSidequest)

Stream highlights: 7:35 "Alright, less chatter, more out the bus" 18:19 "Chef, I'd like three key-lime pies please..." 39:46 "Lets fuckin' run for it lads! Go!... I thought we were closer than that" (Misjudging the beach) 43:53 "There's a fucking bear Dr Cox!" 47:45 "I'll walk up to it. Bomb defusal mode lets go" 1:21:35 "Ohhh my god... they've got furries.." 1:25:21 "eyyy its me!" "Quick, jump out, crate boy!" (Spiff on the lift) 1:40:20 "hallo hallo! Willkommen!" (Volkswagoon) 1:46:25 "Its a shame our cab driver isn't a geordie" 1:50:22 "The upper levels restricted, until I hear the all clear, on this telephone" 2:28:27 "You gotta get in at the last second... ALRIGHT EVERYONE GET IN!!" 2:30:58 "Ohhhh! Welcome! Welcome, my volunteers welcome!" (Dr Whipples enters the scene) At this point I could timestamp every minute, since Dr Whipples is such gold. But there's little point in that, just watch the whole thing. 2:38:54 "HAHAHAHA! You actually went in?? HAHAHAHA!.... alright turn it on" (enter the spirit realm) 2:41:41 "It... it actually worked? Wow! Hello!" (leave the spirit realm) 2:44:43 "press E" "its not E, its, oh it is E" 2:50:23 fight of the escorts 2:59:15 assault on big base 3:08:20 confrontation with big boss 3:10:34 "we saved Christmas!" 3:13:10 The grand, tear-jerking finale! This was one of the best Jingle Jam streams ever, definitely the best of 2020 by far. Amazing work

rewatching this because i'm excited for this year's jingle jam, and i just wanna say that my favorite thing about this video, other than the spiffing crate and dr whipples, is wilsonator's high-pitched screaming whenever he gets surprised. i love it so much XD

this is genuinely one of the coolest things I've ever seen put together in a videogame. very reminiscent of Shadow of Israphel, but on steroids. I know from the comparatively small amount of Rust I've played, that the effort required to put all of this together is staggering. very, very well done to everyone involved!

unpaid prison labor is closer to the american prison system, not the soviet one, soviet prisons (or gulags if you wish to call them that) had wages close and most of the time the same as that of non prison counterparts, which the only systems i know of in modern history where the prison labor is (close to) unpaid, that would be the current american one, since wages can often so miniscule that they dont even cover necessities you need to cover, and more commonly prison related fees in general are either larger than prison wages or take up the majority of prison wages
