Interesting fact: Welsh-speaking harpist Nansi Richards was touring the US and met the Kellogg family, then remarked that the name "Kellogg" reminded her of the Welsh word "ceiliog" - meaning cockerel - and that's, apparently, why there's a picture of a cockerel on the Kellogg's Cornflake box. More over, the box is white and the cockerel is red and green - the colours of the Welsh flag. Kellogg was tickled by the idea and decided to base the packaging on the idea of "Ceiliog's Cornflakes" - the cockerel's cornflakes - with the little "Easter Egg" of using the colours of Wales too.
