Tatiana did ditch drinking recently So good for her. She turns 37 tomorrow so she isn't 27 any longer which is another part of it. Having said that this band works harder than any band I've ever seen. There just aren't that many bands that go on tour for 7 or 8 months at a time. Having toured on a lower level before myself that level of touring seems insane to me yet that's how they have done it pretty much the entire time. This show was the last date of the tour. On top of that of course Tati doesn't seem to sing a song the same way twice and just like with anything else something you try at any given time might be a miss. Not to make excuses with all that. The thing about Jinjer (not to say some other bands don't get this reaction but certainly there are plenty who don't) fans really like the kind of people they are. You can't help but be concerned about them like they are friends you have gotten to know. When it comes to voice I think that aside from getting older and touring like a maniac the smoking does the most to put a strain on the voice. Even people who have never smoked know how hard it is to quit that. In the glimpses everyone gets of her she used to be seen doing it quite a bit but lately not so much. Maybe a good sign. I think frankly I am more concerned with how she has to fiddle with her in-ear monitors as much as she does.

No for sure being a singer is a tough gig, i didnt know she stopped smoking so did i recently toughest thing ive ever done smoked almost 17 years and its been like 2 years now i still crave one til this day, but good for her that will definitely make her career a long one, and that yeah at the end was epic, i guess im just saying i want her to be around for years to come, and not necessarily have the live performance sound exact like studio i def love improvesation, however for the longevity if the band just hope shes taking care of her precious gift.

And yeah their touring schedule has been wild for so many years, they are the definition of hard work pays off from the days of touring in small vans to now awesome tour buses, which ive heard cost for those have sky rocketed, but obviously they have made their mark in music, just want them to be able to for a long time to come.

@@roly369 I know she stopped drinking but I can't be certain she stopped smoking. I just haven't seen her do it lately in any interviews or other stuff and when I met her in Nashville I didn't detect any smoke smell so lets hope so.

As for me I wouldn't say that this perfomance is worse vocally than studio version. It's a bit different - yeah, but it's common for Jinjer performance. And it's a good thing, I'd say, otherwise we could always listen to studio track, no need of "just-the-same-as-studio" live perfomance. Some points of this perfomance I like more than in studio version. For example, that "yeeeeah!" after "Let Me Boast". In the studio version I feel the lack of power in that last shout but here it's just perfect.

The audio level of the music is very low. For a few months in 2022, I thought that Tati's voice was sounding pretty fatigued, to the point that I was really worried about her because, like you, I want her to keep performing for many years to come. Thankfully, she definitely seems to have turned it around...based on her 2023 performances, I haven't been worried any more. My understanding is that she has quit smoking and drinking, and perhaps that's at least part of the reason that she sounds better rested. Cheers!

I saw them in September of 2023 and Tati's voice was on point even though they had played multiple nights in a row. Great show in a small room.
