May I suggest another Ukrainian band? *Ignea* A month ago they released a video for a song they wrote past year (together with another Ukrainian band, Ersedu): *Magura's Last Kiss* (some lyrics are in Ukrainian) Here's the description of the song: «Magura is the Ukrainian valkyrie, the winged, warlike, cloud maiden, the daughter of the Thunderer Perun. With her wings, she overshadows the brave soldiers fallen on the battlefield, touches their lips, and gives them the living water to drink from a golden cup. This is how these soldiers end up in Vyriy, the heavenly palace for eternal life. In Magura’s Last Kiss, Magura is fed up with wars and says that ‘peace can be bold and knightly’. To end all fightings, she kisses herself and goes to Vyriy.»

Flying from Scotland to Belgium today to see these guys on Friday. (along with the rest of the bands at Graspop). Can't wait. Needed this to help get me into a jinjer frenzy. Good work

Graspop lineup is kinda nuts. They have huge names from every time period since the 70's and then when you think you may be in heaven, they have Heiling to transport you straight to Valhalla.

I admire any country who fights off a bigger country trying to come in and control natural resources and the economy because they aren't able to engage in global trade anymore in their own country. if you want something, work and buy it, or do without. period

Well said! (darn I missed it! haha) Whatever political problem someone thinks is going on, murdering innocents is never a moral solution. Maybe whatever political problem won't be solved today, but it will be solved. The moral arc of the universe is long but it bends toward justice. If Ghandi could non-violently lead his people to overcome the British Empire in an age when imperialist powers were far more willing to use force to crush dissent than they are today, then if there is actually a political issue in Ukraine, the Ukrainian people could have solved that problem in time. Or maybe Putin knows the Ukrainian people don't want his authoritarian stat and he's just taking what he wants. What is most frustrating to me as a student of military history is that it has been proven time after time that attacking civilians doesn't break the will of a people but only inflames their anger and hardens the will of the people to resist. America's attacks on Germany didn't. Germany's attacks on Britain and the firebombing of Stalingrad didn't. Japan's "3 alls" terror campaign in China didn't. America's firebombing of Japan didn't - and even after the nukes there was a military coup against the Emperor to try to stop him from surrendering. There is no military or political purpose to randomly bombing civilians. It is just evil for the sake of evil.
@glebivanov63232 жыл бұрын
The main problem is that in most cases (as in this case) there are lots of civilian victims from the both sides. And each side blames opposite side that they are evil for the sake of evil. And each side think that the war is noble because it the way to defend innocent people. Politicians are cinical enough to kill innocent civilians just to provoke opposite side to the certan reaction. Usually it is not a blind evil, this evil is clever and cunning, and thus it becomes even more evil.

None of the filming in this video was in Sacramento either when I seen them in October. Call me a Symbol opening song. Kinda upset going to the Knottfest later this year to see Slipknot, and Tatiana Shmayluk (Jinjer) had to pull out of it, but fully understand there Country needs all the help it can get. I'll get over it. Hope this War over there ends today too, too many lives lost. Stay safe.

The problem is that Ukraine is a democratic country. And civilians, women and men, say that we don't want to stop this war until the enemy leaves our territory. This is their choice. Victory or death. Those the authorities in Ukraine may be glad to sign the agreement but they cannot. The people will tear them up.
