Can confirm this. They are also some of the nicest people i've ever met. I got to meet them and I got to hang out with them and shoot the show I was attending. When I met them I gave Tati a special metal photo print of my work. She's a super introvert and is super shy but when I gave her the print she almost cried. I'm not making that up she said and I quote "oh my god! You shot this? This is so fucking cool!" & she HUGGED me. She hardly hugs fans. Made me feel super special. Someone on their road crew found out I was a photographer and apparently liked my work and when I got there I was greeted with a photo pass. Thank goodness I take my camera w/me wherever I go. Not just the best drummer. Vlad's knowledge of piano and composition seems to be amazing too. His guitar playing is pretty good as well. But that's why he fits. The entire band is great but I think he was the last piece of the puzzle to make the band go from good to amazing. They seem to work so well together. I've been listening to metal for 45 years. Yes, I am that old. The first two albums that I remember as a 6 year old were Rush's new 2112 and Black Sabbath's original album. There have been many albums that have stood out for me over the years - 2112, Strangers in the Night, No Sleep Till Hammersmith, One Night at Budokan, Yngwie Malmsteen's Rising Force, Master of Puppets/Justice, The Great Southern Trendkill, Slipknot's first LP, Ashes of the Wake... you get the idea... ... this is the first band since Ashes of the Wake that I've really felt that insane love for music again. So fresh and original. It doesn't matter if it's the intro the Retrospection, chillin' vibe of Judgement, Perennial or the trippy sister track lainnereP or one song that resonates because I to went to church school and felt the wrath of the cane (ferule) - Teacher Teacher. That everyone in the band is so good, it makes the music effortless and magical. Pretty much every Jinjer song I listen too there's something that either relates to me or makes me go "wow."

Ohhh dude!!! I waited till the end credits and low and behold - Dmitriy Kim did the audio!!! He did the "Ape One-shot from Mystic" vid as well. How cool is that! (For those of you that don't know, Dmitriy Kim is the drummer that played on King of Everything. He's the drummer right before current drummer Vlad took over (Micro, Macro). Vlad definitely had his work cut out for him; Jinjer has always had really good drummers, but Vlad took it up one more level!!)
@ВикШап4 жыл бұрын
This is good and bad at the same time. Because Vlad really changed the band’s music. And in a way, Jinjer stopped resembling himself with his arrival. Because Vlad brought to Jinjer the music he played in his last band called ZLAM. And in fact, right now we are hearing ZLAM style played by Jinjer. Only at a higher level and with female vocals. This was especially evident in their last album "Macro" To make sure of this, just watch the old ZLAM videos on KZbin.
@skullduggery16164 жыл бұрын
Yes, I've heard a couple of those songs and somewhat agree, however I would say it's all good. The last thing a good band like Jinjer wants is to keep putting out the same music over and over. And as a listener, as much as I love Cloud Factory and King of Everything, I don't want to hear another version of those. And I think Micro/Macro is brilliant work, dare I say their best work to date. So I think Vlad's influence is a good next step for a progressive band like Jinjer. Additionally, his unconventional playing style and setup also adds to their progressive delivery. Thanks!
@NWOWCW4Life14 жыл бұрын
skullduggery Cool to see their old drummer was doing this for him. Really liked his style. I do also like Vlad and he really help bring the band to a new level.
@j.f.fisher53184 жыл бұрын
@@ВикШап The other thing I feel like it changed is that it brought a more outsider's perspective of their music to their music. I'd often felt that I'd like songs like Who Is Gonna Be The One and Captain Clock a bit better if they finished hard, and I get the feeling Vlad had been listening to those songs thinking the same thing, because now songs like Teacher Teacher and Perennial that could have gone out quietly circle back around and end with a bang. Similarly, this song could have been another Pisces (which would be beautifully epic, especially with a concert video) if they hadn't started it out heavy. On the downside while each song feels more optimized to be enjoyably awesome now, the variation between songs has been reduced. I feel like there's less of a feeling that any two randomly chosen Jinjer songs will be totally different beasts now. And I don't really feel like that is necessarily a bad thing, but I feel like it is a thing.
@j.f.fisher53184 жыл бұрын
@@ВикШап after listening - not even close, the most I would say is that they sound like the two bands are artistic fellow travelers. Growls, bass-heavy sound - ZLAM's songs had waaaay less variation than any Jinjer song has ever had. Then going back to OIMACTTA, yeah that was Jinjer even before Tati cuts in at the end. The only common denominator to every Jinjer song we have recorded is Roman's guitar work.
