It’s very common to see people in their 40s, 50s, 60s, even 70s become addicted to Jinjer. Those of us who’ve been around to witness the evolution of rock and metal can appreciate the rarity of this band. Over the decades heavy music has given us some of the greatest thrills of our lives. There are a lot of great bands, but the truly great ones stand out. The first time you heard Zeppelin, or Hendrix. When Eddie’s Eruption melted your brain, or you got your first hit of Rush. When Black Sabbath, Alice In Chains or Meshuggah took over your soul. Jinjer is that kind of band. The kind that draws from a bunch of different things that you love, but then puts them all together in a special blend that hits you in a whole new way. Something revolutionary that sounds like a whole new genre is being invented in front of your ears. Those thrills don’t come along often. You only live once. You ain’t getting any younger. The time is now to catch Jinjer live wherever you can! I urge you to see them headlining, at a smaller venue while you can. You will not be disappointed. I saw Rush 36x, and these guys are THAT good! As tight and powerful as any band you can see.

I'm impressed at their ability to keep it fairly organic while working with a click, and backing tracks. A lot of bands loose connection to the crowd being so focused on all of the cues being fed to them in their ear monitors. Their music is pretty intense technically. I've been to probably 200 concerts since the 80's and I've only seen a few bands who could do that. Usually the vocalist can't nail the high notes or even has to drop down an octave. But not Tatiana, she absolutely destroyed, nailed every high note, growl and scream exactly like she recorded it. It was fucking amazing TBH. She might be the greatest metal singer I've seen in my life. I just wish they didn't drop Who is gonna be the one, Words of wisdom, Pisces, and Captain Clock from their set list.

Absolutely love this incredible band. So cool this show was captured for all of us to see! They are an absolute marvel to behold. And I don't usually single any of them out because they are CLEARLY a single unit, but jezus H man,Tati's vocal ability is just staggering. And to think she's been doing this for about a decade is incredible. What temperament she must have, what well managed internal sensibility she has of her performance, what stamina and energy, to hit those high notes on Teacher Teacher, I Speak Astronomy, and all the complicated parts in Sit Stay Rollover right in the middle of all those mind blowing extremes. Show after show. Year after year. Amazing. Absolutely amazing. She's a one-of-a-kind, priceless diamond.

She's one in a billion. No lessons or training, she has no idea how she does it. She says it's not vocal fry. She doesn't warm up before a show. She talks to fans after the show. She smokes cigarettes! Look at their touring schedule--they're playing 5 nights a week, often back to back nights. Living on the bus. It's cold outside! Not for a Ukrainian I guess! Tati is pretty much superhuman. I have no idea how it can be done. I pray she can keep it up for many years to come. Dang, she says she has LOST her scream more than once, and had to relearn how to do it--and it came back different each time!
