After a full year now of sound engineering and show production....... This is just insane. Props to all the men and women that put the time in to setting up this type of event. You truly don't understand the effort that goes into stuff like this until you work behind the curtain.
@coder4liberty9 ай бұрын
Well... one caveat here. As someone who did show production for years and who is a fan of the band this set didn't go as well as it looked. Festivals like Wacken provide nothing more than poor quality stereo or mono board recordings of bands. If the band wants a professional multitrack of a show or a song in the show like this they have to pay for their own split of the sources and room/venue mics. Which is why the rest of this set didn't sound very good. On top of that this set started ten minutes late because someone else was singing in Tatiana's in-ear monitors. There were sound problems throughout the set. Part of it was that this was an 11AM set at the beginning of the day on the second day. A position Jinjer should not have been in in 2019 even at Wacken. I've been in show production so I know bad things happen at shows, but this is one of the biggest festivals in the world and if the band hadn't recorded this song with their own gear at their expense the entire set including this song would have sounded awful if left up to the crew at Wacken. Just saying.

KISS is in Hershey, pa. tomorrow night which is the town that I work in and will be working when they play. I could care less about the band KISS and would put them as a hard rock band that is one of the most overrated bands in the history of hard rock. There music is far from special and they are only big because of their stage theatrics with the makeup, pyrotechnics, and fire breathing. They made it big because of this gimmick and your average rock fan that likes KISS if their honest would say that they became fans of KISS for their stage theatrics more than their music. Jinjer is about as anti KISS as you can get since they make awesome quality and very complex metal music with multiple subgenres mixed with their metal with tons of tempo and timing changes. KISS was very basic rock with their music. But the biggest difference is that Jinjer uses no theatrics live and basically looks like their audience with most of the band in their Tshirts. Jinjer is all about the music with no theatrics while KISS is all about the theatrics. After work I should stop by a local food and gas store blaring some Jinjer out of my car stereo so that these KISS fans can hear real quality music. I might give some of these old timer KISS fans a heart attack, lol!

I've seen Jinjer for the first time in their native town Gorlovka. It was a small night club, they played with other local bands. And you know what? Nothing has changed, because they performed as excellent as they already hit the stage of Wacken. Every single time I listen to Jinjer I feel proud of them. You do not need to live in a big city or have any good friends at major labels. Hours and years of hard work make you succeed.

Her clean vocals are more feminine and more angelic than most pop singers and her screams are more harsh, deeper and demonic sounding than most top level male screamers. She even has Angela Gossow beat as a screamer and Angela Gossow only did that style of singing in her career. This woman is the cream of the crop vocally and to make this even better she has master musicians to work with in this band. The band as a whole is equal in talent level with each other and that in it self is rare because some of the top level rock and metal bands have some musicians that aren't as talented as the other members in their band.

"Try" to sing/growl along This autumn feels like funeral to me The longest song of grief And not for what has passed But for what shall last Exhausted nature is so tragic and suicidal! Oh how spectacular she is when she kills herself! Death throes are slowly crawling to her toes As the last leaf is falling off her head I'm here with her undressed With a few petals on my breasts We shared opiates and let the landscapes do the same I love your warmth but yet prefer to sleep in cold alone. We fixed our eyes up to the sky To see a flight send us farewell Goodbye! May we see each other next time So please, come back to celebrate this festival of life! Then as now fly! Today you reached the point of no return Now cry! And then die! Tomorrow I will meet you with your cells restored Annual tradition of mass destruction In the name of total reconstruction My biggest source of confusion The reason of decay and disillusion Under permanent ice we found a breathless paradise No, we're not dead No, we're not dead Just enjoying coma From the ashes of my roots the new me will rise to live again This is poetry of youth, this is poetry of me and you!
