FYI on their creative process: the musical composition is created first (sometimes created by one member, other times emerging from jam sessions), then they pass recordings to Tatiana. Tati listens, then finds inspiration for theme, writes the lyrics, and weaves her vocal composition into the music. It is very much a team process. Ukraine is a hard place to make it as a band. Anyone who could bear doing anything else with their lives other than work as a professional musician did something else and we are left with four people who are among the most talented and driven artists on the planet.

Jinjer defies genres. Period.

JINJER is gonna release the last song of the album Marco ("Pausing Death") in the near future, so be ready for that! I recommend you "Perennial" and "Ape" from the Micro EP and "Judgement (& Punishment)" from Macro, but to be honest all of their songs are heavy as fuck. AND ON TOP OF THAT they are going to release a new album this year. They are insane. Great reaction btw!

Jinjer is just fucking dynamic. Their song composition keeps the interest high throughout. Also you pick up different things after subsequent listens.

I watch a lot of reactions to Jinjer tracks and you guys are the first to say out loud just what I think about them. Great discussion. Liked and subbed.

Yeah incredible band and discovering them undoubtedly the best thing to happen to me in 2020 🤘🔥 The only downside is they make LOTS of other music seem completely inferior to me now 🤣

Maybe we can come up with a genre for them. How about Progressive Death/Metalcore mixed with Raggae/Jazz. Nope thats too much. How about a new genre, Jinjer!

Per Eugene the bass player, they don't like labels but call themselves "progressive extreme" if anything.
