Es muy probable que el emperador lo queria y como a sus hijos. Spoiler Lakan absolutely will disrespect jinshi. He's done it more then once in the light novels. He blew up a part of Jinshi's house when he wasn't allowed to see maomao(she was in a very bad condition) he also openly mocked jinshi in front of everyone when maomao was kidnapped. He can do that because he's actually the emperor's close friend. When maomao's adopted father(lakan's uncle) was kicked out of the palace, lakan gave the emperor himself a hard very time for years. So yeah when and if jinshi got maomao pregnant there will be a big mess caused by lakan.

Seriously 😳 sad story or not I don’t think I like this guy (have not yet read the light novels , is open for spoilers) to bully the emperor and jinshi who both have a higher status than him if I was jinshi for that kind of disrespect emperor’s friend or not he would pay (btw I am a HUGE FAN OF JINSHI) and I doubt mao mao would care about anything that happens to Lankan either. Can someone tell me why jinshi and the emperor (mainly jinshi) take this bully with there high status I would not that is for sure

@@justanother3367 well it's not really bullying, it's like lakan doesn't back down from taunting them at any chance he gets. The emperor doesn't mind because of 2 things. 1st is that he's a close friend and 2nd is that lakan basically manages the whole military. So like if at any moment the country goes to war lakan is the only person who's gonna be able to handle that. And as you know lakan is the best strategist, it's not like they'll ever find a good enough replacement for him. So even though it might not look like it, but lakan is like the 3rd most important person in this country right after the emperor and jinshi. As for why jinshi doesn't do anything, jinshi respects lakan's knowledge and intelligence a lot. It's clear when lakan was able to solve some military issues for jinshi in mare seconds when Jinshi's been stressed for months trying to solve them. Also jinshi doesn't like the kind of power he has as the emperor's closest relative. He's actively trying to get out of the succession line so if he creats problem with lakan there will be more trouble then he wants. Also jinshi is basically just a really good guy to do any harm to lakan. As for maomao, you have to understand that she doesn't hate lakan. She's made it clear that there's no hatred. She doesn't like him. But not liking someone doesn't mean you'd want them dead. Maomao often says stuff she doesn't mean because she herself is very oblivious when it comes to her emotions. She makes it clear that she doesn't like her bio mom and sees her as someone who gave birth to her, but still she dances to celebrate when lakan and her mom finally reunite. There's a lot of other examples in the light novels but I don't want to spoil them. So in one word maomao doesn't understand her own feelings well. So she'll probably feel a little bit of emotion if something were to happen to lakan.

You know when you think about it, the whole “To get stronger” or “To become the strongest” trope is actually quite exaggerated and flawed. I mean, becoming stronger and becoming better at something (Ex: A better fighter or game player) are very different things. Being strong means being physical fit, not good at fighting. I mean, there’s such a thing as having strong kicks and punches, etc, but that’s not the point. Why not break it down into sub tropes like: “The learning” trope, “Becoming smarter or wiser” trope, “The sharpening of one’s skills” trope, etc.

In Sinitic languages, they have terms to distinguish between paternal and maternal relationship. Paternal grandfather is 爷爷(yeh yeh). Maternal grandfather is 外公( wai kung). The emperor is yeh yeh while Lakan is wai kung. If the language is in Mandarin, Maomao will immediately knows that her son wants to visit his maternal grandfather.
