There was already clear foreshadowing for kashin koji to play a role in the future, in the anime you could tell he respected the village, and was dealing with why he had such a big sense that he was pulled there, all seemingly pointless info to give us if its not setting us up for his “destiny” as they said he was cloned because of jiraiyas genetic destiny.. haha we’ll see!

Boruto as a character went from being the antithesis opposite of his father to being a true foil of his father. I think we can expect to see these types of changes in other characters as well due to the style of the team producing it. I think we can expect to see these changes happening foremost and earliest in the characteristics and choices of Sarada and Mitsuki. They also both were the antithesis of their fathers (orochimaru is a "parent" but it fits for the narrative that I have backup for). Now they are going to become true foils of their parents, if I had to guess. This means I think sarada will become fueled with hatred but find a different way out and that mitsuki will go to mistakenly great lengths to control things he currently cannot but will find a way different from science and diverge from his lineage just as sarada and boru became foils too. That is what I think is going to happen

I think that's a great theory and theyll probs initiate something similar to that, but I think in order for it to not feel too cheap we wont get that for a bit. I think for Boruto to earn readers/viewers respect they're gonna have Boruto go through Hell first before Koji makes an appearance. Otherwise Boruto's potential to be comparable to Naruto or Sasuke will be wasted if as soon as Boruto is "rogue" hes immediately swept up in Jaraiyas loving arms lmao.

I doubt Kashin Koji would be relevant so soon, may be the one saving/rescuing Boruto from being hunted by Konoha (and any other individuals and nations), or he's still unable to do so since he was fcked up BAD. But it would be a beautiful moment for Koji & Boruto bond and do what Jiraiya & Naruto did. I think we'll be heavily surprised by who Boruto comes into contact with (either while he's in design or remaining as the one who killed Naruto), it should be a fun and intense moment!!

I wonder what this means for Sarada though? What you’re describing makes it seem unlikely she would come along compared to before. So, maybe she would train with Orochimaru, as a parallel to her father. Only doing it for actually good reasons while in some ways being like Naruto and holding on to the knowledge of the good in her teammate who has left the village. Our girl does need a power up some way though, and even Orochimaru isn’t going to be the best way to get it for her. But she also has very few options to say upgrade her eyes

To also add to this thought about sarada to get a power up is the way her eyes have been upgraded and gained she has gained all of them through love so I think the next thing for sarada might be unlocking Ms through the pain of having to say goodbye to Boruto and not knowing if he'll be ok I think that would be a nice way to give her a early power up and she could actually train with her dad once he realizes what she unlocked and it'd give us more sarada x Sasuke training

Think the Manga in the latest chapter did a good job at recon-textualizing or rather truly explaining Eida's Charm Ability. That at best her 'charm' is a side effect of her Shinjutsu ability in that her desire is to have love, but given the omnipotence of it being well omnipotent it imparts that desire of hers into other people making it a reality without her control. And thus rob them of free will. With that in mind of how that could work she must of been moved by Kawaki's own strong will and deep desire that sort of allowed Kawaki to achieve his own heartfelt desire through her.

Orochimaru still has the Reanimation Jutsu, in fact he should have Kabuto’s upgraded version as he collected Kabuto’s accumulated knowledge after he got revived from Anko’s Curse Mark. I’m not sure if he could bring back Jiraiya since it seems like Kashin Koji and Jiraiya’s souls may be mixed up, but there are a whole host of others he could revive.

The problem with Ada’s ability is Boruto is in plenty of pictures with Naruto, as well as the fact that he looks like Naruto to the fact that none of them made that observation after Ada used her ability also if Boruto and Kawaki traded places, when that mean people believe that Momo Shiki is inside of Kawaki and Boruto is the one who defeated Ishiki it is ability lets her alter peoples memories, but they should still be able to see the inconsistencies the five Kagay have a picture that they took after they defeated Momo Shiki and Boruto‘s in it but if he is the outsider and they look at the picture, wouldn’t they wonder why he’s in a picture that takes place before he ever showed up in the hidden leaf Boruto could also just ask his pursuers to do a DNA test on him and Kawaki to prove that Boruto is the actual son of Naruto, and that they had their memories altered Ada‘s ability is kind of like a genJutsu and. So he could just say they’re under some thing that works like a genJutsu

The last suggestion of a DNA test has a 0% chance of happening as no one would trust a word Boruto says and they might just kill him on sight. Now pictures are an interesting point. I imagine that most pictures proving Boruto is Naruto's son would be in Naruto's house so Kawaki would likely hide them. I also imagine the Kage aren't constantly looking at that picture of the Momo Shiki fight and other possible pictures like for graduation there is a good chance Kawaki and Aida together would find and hide IF they deemed it necessary. Remember that no one remembers things the way they were. If they see a picture of Baby Boruto being held by Naruto and Hinata people would assume its fake.

And even if they don’t have modern DNA tests in the Boruto universe, which considering that they have cloning technology and all this other stuff involving cells all you need for a rudimentary DNA test is blood type not to mention the fact that Boruto looks almost identical to Naruto

Him asking for a DNA test when everyone has memories that he isn't Naruto's kid wouldn't be taken seriously and that's assuming he even gets the chance to ask before being killed. Also isn't Boruto genetically not Naruto's kid anymore anyway because the Karma marking changes your DNA? So even if someone was suspicious and ran the test it wouldn't match? And even if it did match that likely wouldn't be enough proof for a lot of people. They would probably assume he altered the results somehow. We have cloning and literally techniques of God's in play now so anything goes

I think Sarada will get Shisui’s eye. That’s what I think will happen when she unlocks her mangekeyo. I think she will feel the sadness and gain the ability to teleport as well.

Unfortunately both of Shisui’s eyes are gone… Danzo’s got sealed by that final move he used at his death, and Itachi torched the one he had after its use.

the mangekyo is acquired by implanting the eyes of a relative. Shisui was just Itachi's friend he wasn't related to them. plus Danzo crushed one of the eyes as he died and the other eye is long gone since the crow it was in went off by itself after Itachi died. also the bodyflicker technique is a high level jutsu but anybody is able to learn it. (the only thing Sarada would get if your idea happened is the kotoamatsukami)

@@Lord_Bored that’s the Eternal Mangekyo; the regular Mangekyo is awakened pretty much like a normal Sharingan, just dialed up to 11 (extreme trauma, which is why killing a close friend or relative usually works). Then it eventually burns out, but if you put a fresh set of Mangekyo in your head they won’t ever burn out, hence the term Eternal.

I think the infinite tysukiyomi is worse because it can kill and puts you into submission forever. Atleast the people eida brainwashed can still normally live their lives except Boruto and kawaki of course 😂

It's _absolutely_ stupid because it is _so unbelievably broken_ that there is no reasonable, justifiable way for Eida to be defeated! She is as invincible as she feels like being at any given moment, and there is no indication that she has any limits to the number of times she can use that Shinjutsu, nor that it even consumes a meaningful amount of Chakra when she does. That. Is. DUMB! The authors are going to have to abuse _Deus ex Machina_ to get themselves out of the corner they've written themselves into here, and _that's_ poor form.

I know that Momoshiki and Boruto don't get along, but I wonder if out of their mutual need and desire to survive, would Momoshiki let Boruto know about Toneri being sealed on the moon [that is if he knows that Urashiki sealed him, which he prolly does] and have them go there to unseal Toneri and recruit him for their cause. When talking about Boruto, Toneri refers to Boruto as "the child of hope," which makes me question how powerful is Toneri's ability to predict events that will occur in the future, and how accurate are his predictions? Toneri is possibly someone who Boruto trains with, other than Koji, as he and Momoshiki's combined ability to see into the future could help mold Boruto into a powerful and well prepared shinobi!

It will be wonderful if they showed naruto isnt the child of prophecy and boruto is and is now training under koshi kajin who have all of jiraya's memory and is really giving all of his efforts training the real child of prophecy . Then every fans get angry that naruto isnt the COP but before the end of boruto we get to know that naruto is really the child of prophecy and brings peace to the ninja world.

The way you explain it is that Kishimoto should play with fans emotions just to piss them off by taking something else from Naruto for no reason at all just to confirm at the end that Naruto us indeed the Child of Prophecy at the end of the story. You're basically saying that Kishimoto should make an unnecessary decision to get a reaction from fans then backtrack on that decision at the end of the story. The whole "we don't know what's gonna happen" doesn't work here the 2 prophecies are completely separate and different. No offense, but at least try to make sense. All you're asking for is more unnecessary negative controversy.

honestly that would be cool since she was confirmed by daemon to be one super powerful character. so maybe her super powerfulness (?) completely stops eida's ability from affecting her. who knows? maybe himawari, sarada and sumire will all go with boruto and get stronger. himawari finally unlocks her potential, boruto gets mastery over the karma, sarada gets a power up as well as sumire. (note: sarada wouldn't get the mangekyo as the only way to achieve it is by implanting a relative's eyes into yourself. so unless she takes sasuke's eyes there's no way she would get the mangekyo.)
