Hit’s timeskip wouldn’t have worked on Goku at all, Hit did use his Time skip after goku went ssbkx10 and still managed to land some blows on Goku. He increased his time skip further to ssbkx10 where couldn’t react to Hit’s movement

Cabba is actually pretty strong. If you remember in the last tournament when Cabba & Vegeta were facing off before Vegeta taught Cabba Super Saiyan, Vegeta stated him & Cabba were even in base form. So Cabba is actually pretty strong in own right, and stack on top that he can go Super Saiyan too he’s definitely a strong fighter.

One thing you got to give to the T.O.P. was subverting our expectations. I'm sure most of us expected Hit to make it near the end but the writers had other plans. The T.O.P. is now throwing curve balls, some fighters/universes may last longer than you expect or shorter than you expected. Also, fighters you won't expect much from will do a Hail Mary if they're at risk of being knocked out.

If Jiren can read the blocks the gods were moving to setup the ring then what makes people think he can’t read Hit? Jiren has the power to read movement around him easily like that like that level of sense is not normal at all. Only Jiren can do that so far as I’ve seen.

Hit IMHO, is just Tien Shinhan 2.0, just on the level of Goku. Rather than have Tien actually improve to be on the same level as Goku, they created a purple alien copycat of Tien from an alternate reality. That said, it was awesome that he learned the ability to freeze someone in time, only issue is he wasted much of his strength and energy figuring it out and trying to "time it" that his will to maintain it was weak.

No he didn’t, Jiren wasn’t phased by the hit at all. Goku landed so many blows on Jiren and he didn’t feel any of it really. Goku grazed Jiren face as well. Goku inflicted more dmg to Jiren especially when he slammed his knees onto Jiren stomach I know Jiren felt that for a split second. His face expression says it all. He only did that face expression a couple times in the TOP. He didn’t do it with Hit unfortunately tho.

It Would Have Made SO MUCH MORE SENSE For Hit To Have His Teammates To Go Full Power And Destroy The Flooring Underneath Jiren And Push Him Out. Hit Was Better Off Going At Jiren Because Normally Someone Delivering A Finishing Blow Is At His Most Vulnerable, As They Stated In The Previous Episode. It Just Didn't Work Here. Dude is so strong that time itself can't even restrain him. 🔥🔥🔥 My boy Hit is also pretty OP in own right, but with him eliminated, it's halfway through. The second half of this tournament is where things get wild and desperate... I've said already more than needed for this hint, lol.. Can't wait for the next episode.

Characters have died in every arc so it's safe to assume that would be the same in the ToP. As lame as it would have been for one of the top fighters to be disqualified because of it, it would have made all the sense for the weaker fighters to throw themselves in front of a blast Piccolo style and get one of the biggest threats knocked out.

Hit, by his own admission, is actually pretty weak in terms of “power” and without his abilities he’d lose against quite a few of the fighters in this tournament. In this sense, Hit is more of a classic Dragonball character than a DBZ or DBS character when fights were all about brains and cool techniques as opposed to just braun, transformations, and beams.
