This episode is probably my least favorite of this entire arc and perhaps the entire series. I don't understand why Yamcha had to be treated this way. It's just such a contrast to the way the other characters get treated. Tien gets final closure and gets to look like a badass. Krillin puts on a performance that he can be proud of and pushes Piccolo further than anyone thought possible. Goku gets to show that he has become a complete and mature warrior. Chi-Chi gets her life long dream fulfilled. Yamcha gets humiliated and treated like a joke. It feels like official character bashing and it has never sat right with me.

I wish they'd kept the Japanese name of Shen. More creative and better way for Goku to figure out who he was. You can't spell the English name Shenron without Hero, but I don't think that's what they were going for

Because Tien match was first he beat Tao, Second match Goku beat ChiChi so Tein Vs Goku for semifinals, just seen Junior beat Krillin and watching final match. So Junior Vs winner of this match.

did anybody realises, when picolo hit kig goku with 2 blows he was alsmost dead in the first fight, and now krilin with junior who is much stronger than younger picolo verstion , he survive everything! unbelievable! junior hit him seriously but krilin not only bounce back immediately but even after the kill shot he stand up! it was the genious warrior decision to do that! well done krilin!

If you take Dragonball Z after Namek, the power difference would be great, and Krilin has some moves, it wouldn't be a greatly skilled fighter against a brute. After Namek, Krilin would at least have 13,000 power level vs. Master Roshi with 139 (or is it so!).

Krillen is already stronger than Roshi now whilw also being stronger than Roshi in dragon Ball Z and in dragon Ball super. Roshi would win in a fight against krillin but not because he's stronger than krillin it's due to Roshi being a better fighter.
