The problem is what experiences Jiren had through his life ? Depending the answer, i think it might decide if he would overpower Moro, have trouble with him or lose due to Moro's abilities. Personally, i think Jiren would decide to end the fight quickly as soon as he realizes Moro's draining energy from him. I can't really imagine much winning scenarios for him since his fighting experience outside the ToP is unknown. The best i can assume is during his time as a member of justice, he fought against an enemy able to absorb Ki and came on top (pretty much guaranteed knowing how Jiren is trusting no one before the ToP).

it's arguably worse for someone like Jiren because he has no transformations and his main fighting style consists of slowly using more and more of his power depending on how strong his opponent is. Since Moro can steal power relatively undetected, Jiren would likely just slowly power up more and more until realizing he CAN'T power up anymore because Moro has been stealing his energy the whole time.

I think you missing a few details that can make the topic more debatable. (I reference TOP mostly from anime) Ultra Instinct is the pinnacle to our knowledge and all angels have it. It is an ultimate technique. So tell me how did Jiren match Goku in UI omen and MUI even surpassing him in certain categories? Recall how whis explained the technique dodges all things yet he stepped in some poop. You can treat it as a gag because it was but it also wasn’t because if you look at Jiren in the fight against Omen as he was proceeding to knock goku off it was brilliant how Jiren did not necessarily make a decisive blow directly to Goku at the time but rather used the terrain to his advantage by knocking goku into the rock and knocking him and the rock out of the arena. Now let’s look at full power Jiren... This man straight up bullied his way to fight Mastered UI. At times he can output more energy than Goku and had a straight up exchange of blows for a while. So it’s safe to say Mastered UI is superior to both opponents Do you honestly believe in the little time Moro was able to stabilize Angel abilities he could make a decisive blow on Jiren ? Idk fam

Are you talking about the manga or the anime? They aren't the same, so be specific In the anime, Jiren - after breaking his own limits - matched Perfected UI Goku until he got him angry. He even overpowered Goku a few times and knocked him down once. In the manga however, things are different. Instead of going blow to blow with Perfected UI Goku, Jiren got absolutely stomped. He couldn't land a single clean hit on Goku until he got tired

We have to remember that Moro has had 2 years of a story built around him in Dragon Ball Super. Meanwhile, we have no information about what Jiren is doing during this time. If he were somehow involved, what is the story connection? Jiren's character needs to be developed more to see what kind of character he will be in the series. What's his involvement with Goku and Vegeta? Jiren is a fast as light, universal, dimension breaking thunderous storm of power. His power and technique is basically magic. In the TOP, Jiren explained "I seek what lies beyond strength". Maybe he sought that in the TOP against Goku, and likely the search isn't over. Jiren could be seeking divine powers and this exploration into his character would mean the story becomes more enlightened -- meaning a deeper and wholesome awareness of oneself and it's surroundings, effectively moving the franchise beyond its tact.

The manga literally states goku and Vegeta after fighting Broly are stronger than ever. Moro can also suck Jiren a energy, copy his moves, and copy others. Goku and Vegeta have also trained even more. Goku even training UI with an angel in the time room. Moro before fusing literally stomped a much stronger post tourney UI Goku like it was nothing. Now he has fused and has obtained an angels powers. It is absolutely hilarious to think Jiren from the tourney is stronger than Moro. Goku and Vegeta literally get stronger every arc. Even if they don’t have the form (Goku ssg but obssorbed it in his ssj form). That is what dragon ball is all about. That was the first time facing Jiren Goku used UI and could only use it for a very short period of time. This MUI would absolutely murder Jiren. Moro is so much more versatile and is way above Jiren in strength even now

It also depends on which versions, since manga and anime Jiren are different in power (anime Jiren is far stronger in general AND has extra power on top of this massive power). But in both versions, he contended with the completed Ultra Instinct far better than 7-3 Moro ever did. Now granted, the manga's 2nd UI appearance is better, but I doubt it's leaps and bounds stronger and faster. And yet Jiren even in the manga could put the pressure on UI Goku just by forcing his power and speed, and the anime Jiren outright caught up to that level entirely.

It’s straight up leaps and bounds greater than whatever was shown in the ToP. Current Uio Goku showed a feat of speed Mui Goku did in the ToP. This feat of speed was performed while Uio Goku was suppressed. And we know Goku doesn’t just train his body for speed so we already know his power must’ve had a dramatic increase as well. So current Mui Goku would be far far above that.

Yo @Geekdom101 I have a what I think is a pretty good next arc for Dragonball super. Let’s start off with the ending of the Moro arc. Just to sum it all up Goku cannot stop Moro from destroying the planet and Vegeta doesn’t stop him in time to defuse him or what not. Boom the planet Earth of universe seven is gone and maybe even the whole universe ( or at least most of it like Namik and what not). So the only survivors are Whis,beerus, Goku, and vegeta. They’re all in whis bubble just like resurrection of F and this time instead of whis rewinding the time he says no because he’s already done it before and they both need to learn a lesson on not finishing the fight when they had the chance. Vegeta attacks Goku in like a semi rage because he’s frustrated with finding out kakarot gave Moro a sensu bean which resulted in him loosing his planet and loved ones. he’s also mad that he’s wasn’t strong enough to help out more in the fight. So now for now the universe is semi blown up and they have to go somewhere else. Maybe Explore universe 6 to get the super dragon balls and learn more about other characters. But we then find out after traveling to universe 6 that the super dragon balls rotate every time they’re used to a different set of universes. Which means we would have to travel to one of the higher ranked universes and learn about them and their people of that universe. I don’t know about the villains or if there should even be one I think it should just be them learning about the other universes. Maybe we can start up a new clan that would be like the Akaski from naruto or the spiders from HxH. I don’t know something cool and a enemy that last longer them one arc. MY hero academia, naruto, and HxH do a really nice job with keeping enemies around. I think we need more character development out of Goku and Vegeta or even beerus especially Goku and beerus. Dragonball super is feeling lack luster and they need to freshen things up

At this moment in time I do believe Jiren would defeat Moro especially given the fact that Jiren has still been training and he can contend with MUI, so overall I do believe that current Jiren would defeat Moro 73 with around 70% of his power however once Jiren reaches his super full power form it would be over pretty quick. Moro when he achieves his Angels powers is defo above Jiren not by a lot though as I do still believe that even current MUI Goku would defeat Jiren Max Power but with some difficulties, but back to the point even if Moro is a little bit above a maxed out Jiren he’s gonna eventually wear out due to not being able to maintain UI. Once Moro beat Uio Goku the first time he was going to drain all his energy right away. One he became Moro-73 he had all the Z fighters on the floor on the brink of death. The only thing that saved them wasn’t Moro being cocky but it was the angel trainee Merus. Here’s a more realistic depiction of what would happen. Moro-73(Angel form) would completely blitz and overwhelm Jiren and it wouldn’t take long til Jiren is on his knees. Or just one shot him. Jiren gets his energy absorbed because Moro would think it’s a waste if he didn’t. He absorbs all of Jiren’s energy. Jiren dies. Moro turns into a planet. It's pretty simple really. Goku was a match for Jiren in UI. Yet after training, against Moro he couldn't do anything in UI, and that was before absorbing 73, so right there already shows that Moro was on par, or slightly above jiren, but then he absorbs 73, and is definitely above him. After lossing to UI Goku after he trained UI, Moro got 2 more power ups, 1 of them fusing with the world. That already puts him stages in front of Jiren. Moro beating UI Goku, who was stronger than the UI in the top proves that Moro was slightly above him, but then he absorbs 73, then absorbs some angel energy, then fuses with the world, he was alresdy on, or above Jiren, but having 3 power ups like that, just put him above jiren forsure. @@CJ-qv4sd I think people exaggerate how strong goku has become since ToP . Ofc he's stronger but he's not so strong to the point he would one shot ToP MUI goku or Jiren. Compairing Moro to Jiren, Moro probably wins but it would not be a stomp, Jiren might give him a hard time. People forget just how massive the power difference metween UI Omen and MUI actually is. If Moro 73 tanked a kick from UI Omen with no problem, then Jiren in absolute 100% full power would have a decend chance to beat Moro 73. Moro with merus powers though i dont see jiren having a chance. However whis himself stated that jiren has infinite potential, and rapidly adapts against tough opponents, so who knows what jiren might do. He is also a beast in terms of durability, similar to broly. If we use both manga and anime, he's shown to be able to withstand a pounding and still going for more. In manga he outlasted MUI and in anime he was getting bullied around but still was doing an impressive job as he blocked many attacks. And thats before he gets a power boost from breaking his limits that puts him on par with MUI, which also people seem to forget. From getting bullied to actually overpowering his opponent. Jiren claps. Jiren tanked UI Goku until he fell out of it. Moro broke his hand on UI Goku after Goku gave him a Senzu Bean and absorbed Merus. If Jiren were in Galactic Patrol he'd have death sentenced Moro. Jiren literally blew people away with a LOOK. He rebounded Goku's Spirit Bomb with a LOOK. His barrier was basically impenetrable after he overcame UI Omen Goku. How does Moro even get close to Jiren to try and steal his power?

The Narrative and brief scuffle before Moro became unstable implies Whis > Meerus = Morro (stable Meerus powers) = MUI Goku (Moro arc) > MUI Goku (ToP) = Jiren (ToP) > GoD (in most cases). You could argue with UI Beerus is above most GoD, he does after all briefly fight multiple GoD at once with it, and that would be the only logical plot device to allow Beerus and Goku to fight as equals in the future, if they both use UI. But yes to answer the question of the video Morro with Meerus power should win with only a few blows before he destabilizes. MUI Goku (Morro arc) should definably be far superior to his MUI state in ToP, as was stated, which was at least equal to Jiren, maybe a bit stronger already in ToP, so Moro with UI should as well be far superior to ToP Jiren, and even before destabilizing win with no more than a few blows tbh. As for Moro 73, I doubt Jiren could avoid being hit on the neck even once in the battle, which if that happens Moro wins since he has Jirens power and abilities plus his own. Also Moro 73 is above his previous form, which can literally stomp a stronger UI sign Goku than the one in ToP who gave Jiren trouble, so I doubt Jiren would have a significant advantage in power, if any. As for youth restored Moro, he can still stomp the stronger UI sign Goku, so should be at least comparable to Jiren in power since Jiren had a bit of a hard time with a weaker UI sign Goku, but of course his magic allows him to passively drain energy from Jiren, so again I think Jiren lacks the power advantage to one shot, therefore Moro will win in a war of attrition with high difficulty. As for Old Moro though, Jiren should be stronger imo, and will take the fight seriously from the start like you say, so imo Jiren wins against old Moro for sure.

Jiren is not Gohan, it was shown from the start he does not stop training. If Moro were to encounter him the result would be the same as when he tries to hit MUI goku, a broken arm. Jiren is a beast and is still the strongest opponent goku has had in DBS. And by the way, jiren full power had even more raw power than MUI goku when they fought. End result? Moro absorbs his power and kills him. Young Moro still has his magic but he's much stronger (to the point where he stomped UI omen Goku who was trained by Merus and got much stronger than he was during the ToP) and a completely new ability was necessary to even beat him (forced spirit fission from Vegeta, something Jiren does NOT know how to perform). Starting from Moro with 73 absorbed it becomes a blatant stomp. 73 Moro is RIDICULOUSLY powerful on top of STILL having access to his magic and being able to absorb the abilities of others (not that Jiren had anything to absorb, he has no unique techniques, he just punches things hard). An ANGEL had to directly intervene to beat this guy and in the end he lost to Goku who for the first time was consciously able to access complete UI and - you guessed it - who was astronomically stronger than the Goku during the ToP. I don't even need to go into Angel Moro considering he was easily as powerful as the Goku I just mentioned and we have no idea what he can do when he's fused with the Earth.
