@@alrikjohansson9888 I'm aware of his torn ligament. His striking is elementary at best. He's a brawler with a bit of technique. One of the best at wrestling and grappling but his striking abd submission game is unpolished.

Jiri, is a true kareteka. It chooses you, not the other way around. I have lived this lifestyle, my entire life. It’s not about fighting, it’s about zen and the art of perfection. Competition isn’t even necessary, after a while. Every thing else in your life is superfluous, and will suffer, as a direct result. Hard to understand a kareteka, unless you are also a kareteka

Not sure what the interviewer is on about, Chinese stuff? I guess the interviewer thinks anything from Asia equals China, as if no other countries exist there. The stuff Jiri follows is Bushido and teachings from Musashi and such, this is from Japan, not China, and his hair is also inspired from Samurai traditions as well. The interviewer sounds like he didn't do his basic homework. The interviewer also incorrectly claims this Albert guy ruins Jiri's shoulder, yet Albert and Jiri both refute this. Albert did the right thing to get it back in quickly, because if you leave your limb dislocated too long the tendons suffer more permanent elongation and you can suffer dislocations more easily in the future, so getting it back in straight away, and then going and getting surgery to fix certain damaged ligaments is the best route, and that's what Jiri did. Personally I think fighters shouldn't train doing crazy intense grappling, because this is how they get hurt. This is how Ngannou hurt his knee also, and many other fighters. I think the grappling and wrestling should be intense in strength and endurance, but moves that risk the person landing weirdly or twisting weirdly should be avoided during training, because you want to make it to the fight and get on with your career, and not be getting injured just in training all the time.

"Chinese stuff" - This is what Khamzat Chimaev called the Jiri style. Quote Albert Duraev thought that he had injured Jiri's shoulder by trying to fix it. Albert himself spoke about this. I asked Jiri if that was really the case. He said Albert had nothing to do with it

Chimaev is fool and Kadyrov's puppet. For example he said that he wants to go fight for Hamas. And next week in cage said that wars have to stop and etc.. - He is just someone figure. - He emigrated from Chechnya to Sweden as kid because Russia attacked Chechnya- He was "normal" Sweden guy with green card and everything...Smoking weed with friends and etc. and then he started to fight in UFC. Deleted photos with weed hats and etc. from instagram and said that it was only joke, that he never smoked weed...that he is good muslim....just a figure.
