Very good tips! But one tip of mine. Dont ever say: “dont make an error”! Say: “Give the opponent a problem”, or something like that. So not associating the word “error” with your own serve/play. Find a positive way of telling what to do, not the negative way. If you are serving net, you are not giving the opponent any problem…, maybe because you are afraid of making an “error”, because your coach or yourself just said that.

I am a middle blocker trying to hone my serving skills further. I can now do float and jump floats. I will try this jump serve tips. I’ve been practicing on my own but I can’t really get the hang of it. I did not know about these details when doing jump serve. I tend to think that a jump serve is just a more powerful jumpfloat but I was wrong.
@VolleyCountrycom9 ай бұрын
Yes, there is big difference between jump float and jump serve😀 Hope this video will help you😉👍

2:15 what about if i dont have enough room? the place i play at has the serve line about 3-4 feet away from the wall.

If you have small space than you can use wall and dozens exercise for bump against the wall😉

@VolleyCountrycom2 жыл бұрын
Maybe I dissapoint you, but there is no way to ALWAYS score in volleyball🙂We can try our best, but our opponent will always influence our effort to score a point.

What did you do when you had an injured shoulder? My shoulder has been feeling sore recently and hurts when i raise my hand too high
@VolleyCountrycom2 жыл бұрын
There are many ways to treat shoulder, but if you have long term problems see first some specialist. If you have small problems with shoulder my videos with elastic or on the ground can help you👍

Do you have any tips for jump serving on a court with little space? Some courts have just 2 meters of space behind the line
@VolleyCountrycom2 жыл бұрын
I know this is not ideal. You need one dtep approach or try “beach” jump serve from spot. It is not easy but possible😉

I am trying out for nationals for my country next year, for my gym workout is it better to prioritise legs, core and then upper body?
@Prosperityy42 Жыл бұрын
Also I wanted to know, should you be trying to move your hips in time with your swing or do they move naturally?
@VolleyCountrycom Жыл бұрын
If you want to go to national team you can not prioritize anything😀 Work on all body, focus on all skills and become complex player😉

Is it okay to toss with two hands instead of one? Which is correct (or are they both?)? Thank you
@VolleyCountrycom Жыл бұрын
One hand toss is used more often, since you can roll the ball and have more ball control👍 But if you have problems you can do two hands toss as well😉
