Because no resistors are used, the brass rods and the internal resistance of the cell must replace them. If I use copper wire to build these, will it have enough resistance to keep the LEDs from burning?

Can you please share link where to buy this wire? Did you heat it and cool down? What kind of solder wire do you use? can share link for solder wire? What kind of flux? how to clean it up and make shiny? only mechanichal way or it is possible to increase shine by using chemistry?

Just want to know will it get shock by electric if for kids holding or play around with it?
@Youdontwannaknow..3 жыл бұрын
No, the voltage too low for that. Safe in hands but not in mouth or anything

Hey! I've bought cheap brass wire on eBay after watching a few of your builds and it just does not want to bend, it keeps springing back. And it's a pain to solder. Did I just get crap wire? Is there something I should be looking for?
@005Ash4 жыл бұрын
You could try to heat it up (properly, to a couple of hundred degrees, like over a gas stove, holding with plyers or so), then let it cool, that would release some of that springyness.

Yeah you bought some wire that isn't great for this. Go to a jeweler/bead store near you and ask for solid brass wire. They have it super cheap.

This is so cool, what wire do you use? Thickness and material please.
