Actually they did ask her to, but she rejected it lol she didn’t want to distract the Viewers from her character in the drama and she said “ I thought that if my voice came out as a song, it would be hard to concentrate on the drama. I wanted Young Ro to be left as Young Ro. The directors respected my opinion.”

Jisoo my bias, she is kinda overlooked, she has a beautiful voice and by the way an excellent actor. On their world tour she sang a solo as did Jennis and Rose', Lisa danced. You need to strap in for Lisa's dancing. Japan is the 2nd biggest Kpop market, so all Kpop groups tour Japan and have Japanese versions of their songs and MV's. Jisoo, Jennie, Rose' and Lisa speak Japanese. The oddity with the Japanese version is the Rap lyrics are performed in English. Don't know if a milestone, but yesterday while watching the Kentucky vs Notre Dame basketball game, going into a timeout CBS played "How You Like That"!! Kpop is everywhere.

This has to be my favourite blackpink cover out of all of them, followed by rose's eyes closed cover. There's something about Jisoo singing this song with her unique warm tone and husky sultry lower voice that makes it so captivating to listen to. It's a nice contrast to most Blackpink songs which are usually sang in a higher register. Jisoo killed this and I've heard from others that her Japanese was perfect! So impressive. She truly deserves her title of lead vocalist.

Yuki No Hana(Snow flower or snowflakes) is a timeless classic love song in Japan. It was first sang by Mika Nakashima in 2003. This performance was on Christmas eve 2018 and Jisoo prepared the song as a Christmas gift to the 50000 fans in attendance. Jisoo said Merry Christmas and aishimasu, which is I love you in Japanese at the end.
