We absolutely fell in love with France! We spent two months road-tripping from the Pyrenees to the French Alps. Our original plan was to road trip France in two weeks but we were simply blown away by its beauty and in true Jits fashion, we took our time and indulged in slow travel. Adam and Tania - I faithfully watched your travels up the WWW in Ireland, because I absolutely love that area of Ireland, and was in awe of the NC 500 in northern Scotland. The wife and family only made part of that so I was really enamored of the visuals from there. While watching this video at part 04:58, Adam was extending the side awning, it occurred to after mentally reviewing your previous interior van tour, Adam at one point was displaying how the counter could be extended out the rear doors to provide more space in your minimalist kitchen area. I was thinking that you could easily gain more cover for your rear kitchen extension as you have to leave the rear doors open when the extension leaf is in place, so take a folded poly tarp in a suitable size, I'm guessing at least 12 or 16- foot in length, and open it across the top of both rear doors for a rain or sun awning effect. It can be held in place with some suitable bungee cords in case of winds with rain. When done, just fold it up and stash it away in some small cubby corner with the cords wrapped around it to make it tidy. It can also be used as ground cover for your 'gym' area if it is wet / muddy, used for a picnic seat or placed over a public picnic table as a cloth and even a quick shelter in case of rain and Jits isn't handy. I just hope you can use these ideas for your Van Life bag of tricks. Please stay safe and keep posting more travel videos. Hi Martin! Aww you’re absolutely right about Jits being perfect for recovery. Even with an injury, I felt that she was perfect to manoeuvre. For example, I was still able to cook while I rested my foot on the sofa (I shot this but we didn’t include this in the film). Also the fact that the space was so small meant I could easily hop into the toilet without too much hassle. Absolutely stunning job Tania and Adam! Tania, your ankle looked exactly like my son’s when he broke it on the third day into our 10 day holiday in Ubud. So you were soooo lucky that it was only badly sprained. He spent 2 days in a Kuta Hospital and a titanium plate put in. We stayed on though and the look of longing on your face reminded me of his when we were splashing in the pool as he watched on. Safe travels in Switzerland. Beautiful trip. France can be really great. Cirque de Gavarnie, what a place. I've been in the Pyrenees 20years ago with 2 friends and with our motocycles. And it was quite cold. We made hot wine out of normal wine + artificial sweetener. And the french alps, "Route des Grandes Alpes" is just outstanding for us motocyclists. Almost the holy grail Safe travels. Hope your foot is fine again

Greetings from Poland. Poor Tania! I'm so pleased that it was a sparin and not a break. Still, 3 weeks hobbling about is no joke. The opening sequence to this video was exceptional. Fabulous camera and drone shots. Beautiful scenery. All sorts of weather made the vlog very interesting. Swimsuits one minute, snow clothes the next. 3 months in France was great. Great channel guys. I have been guilty of driving straight through France, on many occasions to get to Greece, Italy or Spain etc. A couple of years ago we did a road trip around France and realised what an amazing country it is. I have loved watching your films. I would love to see you do a film on the practicalities of van life touring. It would be great to see how you plan your route to find these wonderful spots - are you just lucky and happen across them or does a lot of planning go in before setting off, and how do you plan your route avoiding motorways etc? Also things like how you get wifi and data throughout Europe, what amount of clothes you take, how often you do laundry, how you pack etc. All the stuff that may not be scenic, but essential knowledge for van-newbies.
