What a great review! I was looking for a pot around this size that is a is at least 5" in diameter. It's so that the pot will fit on the grates of my Coleman 414. I am a fan of Fire Maple products, and this is my favorite puchase next to the tea pot. They are both fantastic items. The steamer basket, the folding handles, the top locking handle, the easy off locking top, the smooth, thick, good quality SS, the pour spout, all sold me. I don't remember what I paid for mine, but whatever it was I'd do it again.

That pot is perfect ! I love it , it's so good and adaptable to most any cooking situation. The price is a little steep but you get what you pay for.

I have this pot as well. Beats my zebra billy cans hands-down. Love the idea of ‘slow cooking’ the eggs like that! I made a little ‘leg’ on the middle of the ‘steamer’ so I can lift it out easily. Keep well!

Anyone else have the locking lid pieces snap off at the sharp bend point just before they clasp or hook onto the edge of the pot ? To be more clear, I'm talking about the bend point on the clasp at about a 1/4 inch from the end of the clasp itself where it hooks onto the pot...mine have snapped off rather easily just from finger pressure - sigh. BTW, I have several of the AWESOME Fire Maple products and love the quality and fair pricing too. Anyway, I'm thinking a simple solution would be in adjusting to make for a small manufacturing change where instead of having a radical bend they could roll the steel curving it for the directional change needed there where it would NOT be weakened into a sharp bend as is....this is a basic Mechanical Engineering principle where rounded edges of steel are known to be stronger in withstanding pressure because it is transferred across the circumference or roll of the steel rather than into a concentrated pin point at the creasing bend as is presently. Anybody?

stuff-sack is plenty big, not suffering from stuff-sack-itis I HATE lids with HOLES never had issues in the past with lids without holes why this trend putting HOLES in lids... this is an interesting BUSH POT

How useless is the mesh bag? seems like if you cooked over a flame the soot would get all over everything because of the holes in the bag.
