this is magical - i've been looking for something like this, akin to flashcards for my half guard game. i've been swapping between the knee pick, ankle grab, single leg etc but very sloppily and this is gonna help me clean up!!

Nice 👍🏼 - love toe holds, that particular calf slicer, guillotines, and loop chokes - I’ve been working Halfguard with a knee shield more often lately and there’s a nice kneebar from bottom as well - do you find most of the moves more effective starting w/ knee shield?

Notes to self - Half Guard Bottom: Basics: 1.1 Block their RS arm from controlling your head 1.2 Don't let them underhook your LA 2:00 Attacks: 2.1 Back take: Underhook sit up, push on their tricep, take back 3:33 2.2 Roll back sweep: if they try to push back on you, RH grab under far ankle and roll 4:52

hey, these techniques rely on getting the underhook. What would be good sweeps to do when you can't get that proper underhook from halfguard?
