I’m glad I’m not the only one who notices this….Doc always throws the players under the bus and never takes any accountability, never mentions any adjustments he could have made, etc…and a lot of his coaching deficiencies show through his players’ performances on the court

Then did it twice with the Los Angeles Clippers, first in 2015 against the Houston Rockets and then again in 2020 against the Denver Nuggets 1 championship with the original super team celtics and by my count that’s 1 chip in 9 seasons in boston. and if you wanna compare jj as a coach to doc sure, but let’s keep it 100, and also compare doc as a player. doc rivers as a player played 8 seasons and never made more that 2 mil per. his career total earning were just under 8 mil. jj reddick played 15 seasons and made 23 mil in one season at one point and over his career made over 118 million dollars. so i dont think he’s jealous.

That's all he's ever done and has been god awful since then. He is one of if not the worst coach ever at making adjustments in the playoffs. No coincidence that if a team blows a 3-1 or 3-2 lead in the playoffs, it's a good chance Doc was coaching them

I 100% agree with JJ. Doc is BY FAR the most overrated coach in league history. It's not even close. EVERYWHERE he goes the team hands him the key to the city with loaded rosters. Not only can't he win a championship with teams he can't even get to a conference championship. And he STILL gets chances that 100% of coaches out there would relish to have. Doc is always the victim. Thankful for JJ for telling it how it is.
