Nah that's not even true, they could have won this game if they played better rotations in the 4th. Gabe switching onto KD killed us and that's a lineup issue. AD was awesome as usual, and really was holding it down (along with Reaves and Rui) for a scrambling Laker's squad. Bron and our bench couldn't keep up with the Suns unrelenting offense. He is an idiot. With 6 seconds to go he and Bronzo have a genius idea to miss on purpose and they can't even do that the right way. Timeouts or not that was the stupidest thing one could do in that situation. And if you can't make that shot and foul immediately leaving yourself 4 or 5 seconds after their free throws then you just suck at basketball.
@heresmyname-jz8ft2 күн бұрын
@@cooljp1531 if lebron makes the free throw and then foul, the suns are up 3. Even if Suns don't make any ft, Lakers are left with 4-5 seconds, no timeouts and their only option is to make a hail Mary three after collecting the rebound. Is that your plan? @heresmyname-jz8ft2 күн бұрын
@@cooljp1531 yeap my bad it would be 106-107 but that makes my argument better lol. Because now they have a chance to get ahead, even win it if Suns miss their free throws . Sorry but having your team equalizing at the buzzer while starting the possession from the other side of the floor in 4 seconds is a worse plan. If he doesn't miss the ft you're basically giving up on a possible extra possession and hoping to win/go to OT with a circus shot. Yes, if you're in the NBA you should make tough shots but if you want to win consistently, you should be able to recognize,take and make the easy(ier) ones

Book scored over 30 but he's not close to firing on all cylinders yet , he's missing alot of shots including open ones ! So to think that just because they lost by 4 this is gonna be some barometer for how things will play out is wishful thinking ! Phx has an almost new bench that can score so when they click on all cylinders as a team is gonna be a different story !

JJ Redick as a coach is so refreshing! One of the things I didn't like about Ham's style was a lack of accountability. JJ doesn't seem afraid to self-critique and see the bigger picture. Liked him as a player, love him as a coach!

The comment in 7:35 reminded me of Clyde Drexler at the start of the 1992-93 season when they lost their first game after starting 8-0. He said jokingly that they were expecting to be 82-0. They went on to have a terrible season and get eliminated in the first round.

Chalk it up the mismatch in that lineup in the last 5mins (with Gabe in the lineup, a key no call on AD and some defensive sloppiness in the clutch!

Yall better appreciate the effort and energy jj is putting into this team. Dude could easily still be doing podcasts making his bread but he wanted the challenge of coaching because he loves the game that much…not that many coaches like that left…most of the losses he’s been involved in since preseason and so far this season they never lost by double digits once yet……..that should let you know the direction they’re going which is good mind you he doing this with a 40 year old lebron and a 2nd round 55th pick with his son LOL a lot of pressure for this dude and I’d say so far he’s handling it well imo
