I have faith in JJ for 3 reasons He is the first person in the org in years that seems to recognize the problems this team has 1. Rebounding 2. Off ball movement 3. Organized offense Now I don't know that we have the personnel but I still respect that he has the IQ over 40 to recognize the obvious

I think being true to your basketball philosophy needs to be given higher priority than continuity with a narrow view based on the last month of the last season .... I have Ten ideas for JJ and staff, who I certainly beleive in and I think can genuinely extract a 50+ win season from this Laker roster... given some injury luck relative to the recent past..🤞🏽 1st idea: Invest in and deploy a crack scouting staff that will scout every team atleast a week in advance and develop a serious game plan for every regular season opponent... Basically be better prepared than your opponent every night...it matters!! 2nd idea: The coaching philosophy that should improve the returns on this team should be a combination of an improved motion offense, a smart defense that can be physical both on the perimeter and the paint, a higher focus on box-outs and crashing offensive boards and finally deploy lineups that leverage players' strengths as opposed to making decisions to protect the team from their weaknesses 3rd idea: A defensive minded starting lineup (AR, Max, Vando, LBJ, AD) that sets the tone early, brings energy, physicality to the defense and generate some fast break offense off that defense... Here's hoping Vando is ready 🤞 4th idea: A scripted motion offense for the 1st qtr every game ala Shanahan/Holmgren with the West coast offense run by the erstwhile 49ers... 5th idea: LeBron the point forward leveraged in the 1st and 4th qtr atleast...orchestrating a patient offense that focuses on generating good quality open looks... 6th idea: Maximize DLo, Rui and Knecht off the bench in offensive minded lineups. This can put the ball more in DLo's hands with a better usage rate, building his rhythm, create good shots while leveraging Rui's post play, generating open looks for Knecht, Gabe ..etc 7th idea: AD as a hub but having both him and the others on the floor more in motion and not stationary... 8th idea: JJ wears another hat as a shooting coach drawing on his 15 yr NBA experience in preparation for an oncoming season..esp the work put in the offseason ... Talking to ex- players like Korver as sounding board should also help ...esp shooting form, 3pt practice regimen, free throw regimen etc 9th idea: An engaged LeBron more on defense communicating as a "free safety"... While playing 10-20% less on ball on O this season .... 10th idea: Unleash Vando, Max, Gabe, Hayes and a big man that is still unnamed in roles with a focus on their high energy presence in short spurts on the floor... intensity plays from these guys that energizes the whole team, fires up the crowd etc... We need to put an emphasis on the "dirty work" crew and their roles....!!! Good Luck👍
