Hey bro. Glad I came to this.. How do you avoid the X vignetting when shooting videos? Are the more expensive ones better at preventing this?

Hey man! The only way I know how is to stop before the X vignetting appears. Some more expensive VNDs have a hard stop that prevents you from turning it that far.

@@CarlBergsdorf oh that I didnt know. Yes the hard stops will help solve the problem. Been looking at vnds with hard stops and they are pretty expensive.

I was watching Peter Lindgren's video about this JJC filter where he says it has a CPL built in.. If so.... Does it have an extra ring to control the CPL??

Hey, what do you mean about CPL ? Is it for polarized ? because I just happened to find this video after watching the one of Peter Lindgren's too :p And i was wondering about the same thing you asked ! Have you found any answer yet ?

I mean he's partly correct with that. ND filters achieve the dimming effect by having 2 polarising lenses become closer and farther to each other, so technically they are CPL lol. But no the jjc filters dont have actual CPL features where you can adjust polarisation. For a similar price tho there is the k&f one however the nd is adjusted by a knob that's a bit weird to use, and also turns with the polarising filter. It's only up to ND32 However but at least it limits you so you wont get an X
