Wow what a fun day. I lived in SoCal for 30 years and never went to Griffith or La Brea tar pits! There are soooo many streets that go on and on and on in socal, especially in the flat areas like LA!

Definitely both worth a visit if you go back! The roads are crazy, very disorienting the first time you experience it. You can drive for 20 miles and end up on or driving across the same road name multiple times at different points 😂

@@JJExtra that is very true some streets are very long! I lived in beuna park and worked and went to grad school in Costa Mesa. So I would take harbor blvd everyday and it was the only street i needed to go back and forth on!

I haven’t been to Hollywood since 1997 - definitely only need to go once. We got to see the Morton Bay Figs in Hawaii that they used for filming Jurassic Park. They were incredible.Beverly Hills is always nice to explore. Did you guys go to the Walt Disney family museum in San Fran? Glad that zoo was closed down - that was crazy small areas.

Hawaii is the absolute dream for us! We did do the Walt Disney Family Museum yes, no recording is allowed so it didn’t make the vlogs but we did get to experience it 😊

I’m not sure about the Hollywood area but the museum and Beverley Hills look great. The trees are insane! We liked all the tree updates haha I don’t know why Sharon puts up with you haha. The abandoned zoo looked so small xx

Hollywood is not great and not somewhere we would want to spend a lot of time (not the walk of fame area anyway) but the Hollywood hills are nice. The rest of what we saw in LA we absolutely loved. It’s easy to see why the zoo was closed but cool they have left it for all to see.

I rode a pony at Griffith Park when I was 6 years old. My father grew up in L.A., and my grandparents lived close to Griffith Park. I don't remember if I also rode the merry-go-round, but it seems likely!

Ah what a great memory. The area around the merry go round was very popular with locals all getting together so very likely you spent time there. We will get to ride that merry go round one day!!!

At the Cincinnati Museum, there was a skeleton of a sloth that was just as big. Also. . . Was there mention of a Funko store that unfortunately did not get visited?

Yes there is a Funko store on Hollywood Boulevard but the line to get in was huge and we just didn’t have enough time 😔

Hollywood looked quite disappointing guys. I expected it to be all glamorous and fabulous. However the museum and tar pits looked very good. If Sharon had fallen in a tar pit she would have wanted her shoes saving first. 😂😂

The Hollywood hills is beautiful but the strip where the walk of fame is is a total tourist trap. We loved the rest of LA that we saw though but hardly scratched the surface so maybe next time we will see more! Sharon would definitely save the shoes first 😂
