Gonorrhea Signs and Symptoms & Complications (& Why They Occur)
Gonorrhea is a sexually transmitted infection (STI) caused by infection with the bacteria Neisseria gonorrhea. Gonorrhea is the second most common STI, and it commonly co-occurs with Chlamydia infections. In this lesson, we discuss the signs and symptoms of Gonorrheal infections and why they occur, including important complications of infection that can have long-lasting effects on the patient.
