Yessir, I'm still going to fly. My moms said you guys got a lot of snow in that area as well. Definitely gotta pick your spots and times to fly wisely during the winter.

Thanks for the great unboxing and flight test, I guess it's not geofenced? At over 250 Grams it has to have FAA registration, where do you stick the registration sticker? Oh I almost forgot I went to GB link and it looks like they are out of stock, is the coupon still good?

This one does have a geofence but you can turn it off. It’s been a while since I did this video, but I believe I show how to do it. You can put the sticker wherever you want really. I usually put mine in the battery bay or on the bottom side of the battery. GB is out, but I think geekbuying and RCMoment have them. Check the description box, I could have sworn I put a link to another site there.

Wow, hard to compare the two. I like this one because its so compact, but I like the X16 because it can carry any action cam I want. That's tough.

Gadget Inspector Exactly my thought also. I may end up buying the Bayangtoys X16 GPS + gimbal + Eken H9 for USD160. However, the JJRC JJPRO X3 can also be had for USD128.

Yes, that is a dilemma because both are really good quads. I don't think you can go wrong with either, but you have a little more flexibility with the X16.

Nice review, but I feel its to dangerous for beginners. The lack of being able to switch between ALT & GPS and back again during flight could cause unwanted problems for newbies, who might panic at the loss of GPS.

Good point. I honestly think any GPS drone is probably not a good idea as a first quad. Grab a cheap toy grade first and learn on that, then if you lose the GPS assistance you'll know what to do. The good thing though is that flipping to RTH will work in whichever mode you're in. I think I'll be flying this one quite a bit this winter since it did so well.

Great review and tons of information. What kind of phone are you using? I had problems with the JJRC App in the Play Store but found the same app on a Chinese website that works fine. My followup tests/review of this one should be posted later tonight... POW!!! Merry Christmas brother!

No, it's nothing to do with the 5G wifi as my phone is having no issues with my other 5G wifi quads. If you check out Quad 101's review, he said he had the same issues with the app in the Play Store but it worked fine if you download the Chinese version of the app. I did, it works, and my FOLLOW-UP review is being edited as we speak... POW!!! Thanks...

I'm sure it could with the brushless motors it has. You could even remove the stock camera to reduce some weight and it should handle 50grams with no trouble.
