JK shifter bushing

In this video I show you how to replace the shifter cable bushings in a 2007 Jeep JK for the transmission and the transfer case.

Yeah it's a lot easier to reach that thing with the plate off. Also the lift makes it easier. Wish I would have known that before I did mine on my 07. Thanks for the vid man...

I did not have to take the whole console out....just the 4 bolts (t 27's )and lift it up tO GET THE BUSHING IN

For those that arent mechanically inclined and decide to take it to a shop for a mechanic to fix how much does that repair job normally cost?

I would call your local Jeep or mom and pops shop and ask. Shop rates vary in different areas of the country.

when have they ever given you space for anything you really need to do on a Jeep? Also I prefer your cuss words lets me know I'm human. All I do is cuss at it... my cord is zip tied underneath right now

I had to do the zip tie trick a few times. I let cuss words stay from time to time but I have some younger views so I try not to get to bad on the channel. Lots of edit outs LOL. Thanks for watching I really appreciate it.
