If you miss with those two strikes you would be ready to throw a next move. Dont count on a fingerjab, cuz its difficult to get the fingerjab in the eye. I believe its almost accidental to get the finger in the eye when you have an agressive moving opponent. But hey the principle is right, but i believe it should be the right tool to the closest target.
