@AetheriusLamia2 жыл бұрын
This is a good sketch. I think this video suffered from whatever environment they recorded it in, a kind of vibe from the audience that made them rush some parts rather than slow to nail the comedic timing of certain pieces. Maybe I'm also sensitive/trained on old Studio C audience laughing, noticing how the audience isn't laughing at parts that are actually funny. Kind of like the Mitch Hedberg line, "That joke was funnier than you acted," this sketch was better than that audience. (However, maybe the difference is amount of microphones in the audience, if Studio C had the crowd mic'd better...) ... and Studio C being an actual studio - sets, costume, etc - really did add a lot to it. It's harder to draw in people with only intellect -- costume, set, production team, all part of the toolbox that made the same quality skits "make solid contact with the viewer" in old Studio C. I wonder if they can get some wealthy donor to get them an equivalent gig, because they really are funnier (and *better* in a wholesome sense) than SNL ... and also, what platform can we use that doesn't have a neutered dislike system and hypocritical censorship? I got Angel Studios for them, so ... maybe something other than KZbin ...

YOU NEED TO READ THIS!!!!!! Romans 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. Romans 5:8 But God commended his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 10:9 That if you shall confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and shall believe in your heart that God has raised him from the dead, you shall be saved. Romans 10:10 For with the heart man believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. Romans 10:13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. Luke 24:47 And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations… God bless you all!
@matthort17192 жыл бұрын
Im not trying to sound disrespectful, but you forgot about baptism. Jesus said when talking to Nicodeamas ( I can never remember the verse) that you must be born of water and spirt. The water baptism is important too. And in Acts 2:38 we are told to be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ.
@samueld.spoonhour41692 жыл бұрын
@@matthort1719 It is not my job to correct anyone. However, I appreciate your attitude and question, but in my case I have searched the scriptures, and have found a different conclusion. Baptism is in fact a physical action or work. Paul does say in one of his letters that it is purely a sign to show your commitment. Likewise, if you read Romans 2-4 and Galations chapter 3 you find that we are justified by faith and can only obtain God's grace through faith in Christ. Furthermore, when Jesus mentioned water and spirit, in context He was talking about physical birth, which is why Nicodemus was confused. The spirit part is the second birth; being baptized or enveloped in the holy spirit that is to be born again. This also relates to Jeremiah when God promises to give his people new hearts, ones not made of stone, but rather soft in nature. I know this personally, when I truly trusted in Jesus Christ for my salvation, I already felt a change inside. I am a different person since then. I am not stubborn, well somewhat, but instead meek, by God's grace, and loving. That is what true repentance is about; to do a 180. You might disagree, but hey we can still agree on God's saving and changing power, but just make sure you at least look into what I have said just as favor. God bless you, and have a wonderful day.
@matthort17192 жыл бұрын
@@samueld.spoonhour4169 I appreciate your attitude as well, and apologize if I come across as cross, I'm not the best at communicating over typing. But what about when the followers of John the Baptist were asked by whom they were baptised? I also have always felt that when talking with Nicodemus that Jesus isn't talking about literal birth, but Nicodemus was not able to understand because he spoke in parable like with others outside the 12. God bless you, fellow brother in Christ.
@samueld.spoonhour41692 жыл бұрын
@@matthort1719 Well it's simple, just like how Paul had said in 1 Corinthians that it doesn't matter who you are baptized by, but rather who you follow; it is the same with the disciples of John. Now I personally haven't studied that portion of scripture, but I believe that when the Twelve told them to be baptized in the name of Jesus it was a way in those time to show that you now followed him. Likewise, Jesus had said once "be ye followers of me and not of men". If baptism leads you to trust and follow and even give your life to Christ then so be it, but God said Himself "I am not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance." But rather not baptism, but following Jesus Christ, we purely obtain the gift of salvation by believing on him (John 3:16) but which comes by serving him and doing as he says. God bless you.
@matthort17192 жыл бұрын
@@samueld.spoonhour4169 Oh I'm not saying that we are saved by baptisms, just that it's a important step. And as far as Bro.Paul in 1st Corinthians, I have always taken that to mean that it doesn't matter who you were baptised by, only that you follow Christ. I do believe baptism is important to part of the process being saved. I believe that it represents the death of Jesus Christ and the resurrection and we get baptized down so that we can also go through that death burial and Resurrection the the death part is whenever we repent from our sins the burial is the baptism in Jesus name and the resurrection is whenever we're filled with the Holy Ghost which is evident speaking in tongues that you see in the book of Acts. I don't know how to do it but if you're more interested in we could talk in private I don't think there's a way on KZbin just figured I'd offer to not disturb people it has been really good talking to you though honestly, and God bless you brother.
