East Coast Wheeling!!! Nothing beats offroading and rockcrawling in challenging conditions.
We took a trip in the Jeep Wrangler JKU out to Windrock TN. Windrock is a great offroad park, and has so much to offer.. We had a mix of muddy trails, awesome rock crawling, and even found some snow on the way.
The JKU did great, the 40" Yokohama XMTs performed amazing in these muddy conditions and gripped like it was dry! This is what these tires were made for.
All of the other recent upgrades have help up really well too, the DIY 7SC 3 link long arms, falcon shocks, antirocks, etc. I was super impressed on how the jeep did!
Joining us on the trip was Kevin and Katie from Rockfab Offroad. They make all kinds of recovery gear, so be sure to check them out and help support your fellow wheelers!

Kevins Jeep is a 1996 XJ on 35"mtrs, he is running a clayton 3 link 5.5" lift, sporting a lot of his own handy fabwork for the half cage and armor. He just finished up his Ford 8.8 swap prior to this trip.
Casey, is the Samurai owner. He has owned it as long as i can remember, and he has not changed it up! It performs great, and is a cool little rig. Its on 33"s, solid toyota axles, and is powered by a 1.6l engine if i remember correctly.
This trip was a blast, and it was fun to get out and wheel with some friends, even if it was only for a single day.
Now that we know some good trails to hit, i am planning a group ride sometime this spring here! Let me know if you guys are interested!
Thanks for watching!
