Something is not adding up. You said it is a 6 speaker system and showed pretty much that but at 8:37 there is a speaker on the side of the helm that was not discussed. Did you put the 770's, 1 on the lower right side and the other on the left side of the helm?

That sub on the side wasn't hooked. it was an original install, it has been removed now.

yep, will still sound good, just make sure they are angled to where you will be most of the time

Yes they come with the wiring required to get back to your stereo, depends on the size of the speakers whether you require an amplifier. the bigger the speakers the better they will sound with an amp

You should have ran more power to the 8.8 I always powered 8.8s for a set of 4 either the m800.8 speaker bridged per channels/ mono or the mhd600.4 hooked stereo .

Curious about the effects of the subs on the sonar. Does it mess with the transducer at all? I’m guessing not so much if the subs are near the bow and the transducer is mounted near the stern?

A single Polk mm1040 in a ported box will stomp a pair of those JL 10s in a quasi IB setup. Two pair of refurbished Infinity 8” Marine coaxs with higher power handling will run you $260 off EBay and you can get a 1KW+ Sundown 5-channel marine for under $300. Same if not better sound for under $1000.
