Will these ball joints work with the 392 version of the Dana 44 as it has cast steel knuckles? It seems everything for the 392's is unique, different, special, etc... blah blah blah... Would really love a win here for a change.

what grease do you use for the fittings? are they already pre greased?

Is it necessary to drain the front diff fluid?

While it wouldn't be directly needed, it would be a good idea to ensure that no fluid runs out the axle tubes during the install.

How do you keep the FAD fork from dropping when the Axle is pulled out?

Tip from thread on jlwrangler forums, put in 4Hi prior to doing the job. This will move the coupler over so you can use the extended coupler to engage the splines on the outer axle shaft to the FAD coupler.

Good question. The Mojave does not use any different specs when compared to the others, so the specs for installing our ball joints remain the same.
