That’s my main problem with Simmons he never paid any wood to make teams fear getting they players blown up throwing down the middle. He’s a very finesse safety who’ll fall back and be in his right space for a int of two but you never FEEL Simmons during a game the way safeties should he felt! Teams gotta know if you throwing up the middle you better know you likely gone get your player knocked out of the game from laying wood

Wasn't he draft eligible last year? Didn't come out for a reason and I expect that this hype here is probably not all deserved if he's projected as a late rounder next year. He's staying in college another year to improve his stock and there's a reason for that or else he would've came out, the NFL doesn't just miss on finding talented dudes at bigger programs. I haven't watched his tape but I bet he has limitations that a lot of big safeties have, probably isn't great flipping his hips or changing direction but is a straight line big box safety which is also not the most valuable thing. If he can be a tight end eraser then he definitely has a place in the league but idk again I haven't watched his college film
