RC Tanks & Trucks 24/7 Hey bud I'm brand new to the rc hobby, I just bought a like new traxxas e maxx 3906 model and I'm intrested in getting the chettah but was wondering can I swap out the body to another style? Sorry if that's a stupid question but not sure if all body's for 1/10 scale would work or not. Thanks and subbed!

I like it. The tires might not be as good as the 21101, but the wheelie bar and lack of tail wing is nicer. I also dig this body. Great as always buddy

FYI the wheel nuts were changed in the 80A original Cheetah too after first batches.. I have the black nuts on mine.

I don't see much point in the EXTREME version, if it's the exact same truck and similar spec motor with a 120A ESC. Technically it should be same speed and flaws as original. Better ESC is nice, but how much more is it than old one?

Great video Steve!!! If you put the body and tires off the 21101 you have the exact same thing.😁 I like this body style over the 21101 but it needs different tires! I almost bought this one (80amp version) over my Zombie ..now it's a 120amp version I think i'll get one....it will be my faster basher!!

I bought a Force Rc Muckraker 1/8 Truggy a few months back from Tower Hobbies and love it so I was thinking of getting another Truggy and was looking at the Zd Racing Pirates 2 or 3, but then I got to looking at this, and both are around the same price on Banggood which would be the most bang for buck in your opinion?

Hey there. Loving your vids! Wondering if you've played with this yet? If so, I asked a while ago about which you thought was best, DHK Zombie, Bison or the Cheetah. Would you still recommend the Zombie? Or is the new Cheetah better?

There was quite a bit to like about the 1st versions of these trucks. The newer versions seem even better with a great esc. Been around a while now makes it much easier to recommend. You never know if a China direct brand will be around if you need parts a year after buying one. Looks like JLB means to stay around.

I replaced all 4 knuckles on my cheetah extreme, and the Handeling of the stearing seems to be off, I have adjusted it with radio but it's still not right. Any suggestions??

How would you compare the 120a Cheetah to a DHK Maximus, is JLB faster and more fun? Also compare to Arrma Granite 3s Blx 4x4

Dhk maximus is my favorite but the arrma might be easier to obtain parts.

You can change the deans plug on the ESC no problem. 10,000mah might be a struggle fitting in

Hey Steve I just received mine from hobby king. I got the extreme 120a esc but I noticed the new ones controller doesn't have any Antenna sticking up. Not even a stubby one. Would this be OK you think? Also the model I got for 200 didn't come with a charger or battery so I'm stuck waiting on a lipo in the mail.

+Chris Watson yeah it will be fine. It has the inbuilt aerial. Yeah I noticed that they didn't include the charger and battery. Maybe they did that to keep the initial price down.

The charger takes around 3h 40 min to charge and if youre driving normally about 25-30 min driving

+AllAKluse hey mate, I really like the Zombie as a overall basher. It seems to handle nicer and great build quality too. Parts are readily available aswell. That being said, the JLB cars are great as well, just my opinion though :)

Whats up steve nice jlb cheetah extreme unboxing🖒 and because of that i have one But i need help mine came with the pinion gear not lined up with spur gear the pinion gear teeth are hanging outside the spur gear. I took the pinion screw out to try to line it up with the spur, but the pinion is stuck i dont know how to. plus when i barely give it slow throttle its a little rough not smooth then it goes it lags when i give it full doesnt do full throttle back flips like othere ones im missing power somewhere please help thank you

I got mine but the other version the blue erevo copy it performs great if i dont rip it all the time i get close to 30 min runtime parts are cheap so i also reccomend buying parts spare the front parts if you brake it
